The morning was silent. Peace covered the streets of Cornerstone. I wanted badly to skip achool for at least five days. I knew that the Finley sister's would be waiting for me at school. Waiting eagerly for my blood. My heart throbbed with each movement. I had left the house earlier than usual, unwilling to go with Jake. I didn't want him to protect me or fight my battle. I was ready to face my fears even if it meant I had to defend myself again. But what triggered that was the unfair treatment I had received from the principal. I wanted justice. I wanted to fight. Scared as I was. All the learner's students gathered to near the assembly hall for the day's announcements. Mr Burgess pulled out a key from his pocket but was surprised to see that the door was actually not locked as he thought it was. He opened it wide for the learners to enter. Those that were at the front, standing next to the principal began to scream.
