Chapter 2: Making a new friend

"Hi" She heard a voice behind her and looked back with a raised brow

"Hello" She said simply and faces front back after realizing it's a girl of like her age

"How are you doing?" The girl asked but she ignored

"I'm talking to you, you know" The girl shrugged sitting beside her

Bella looked up with a frown

"Fuck off" She said coldly

"What if I don't want to" The girl said

"Then I'll leave for you" Bella said and stood up

"Wait" The girl stood in front of her

She closed her eyes and sighs

"I'm Jesse Greek" She said smiling brightly showing her set of white beautiful teeth

That's when Bella was able to get a clear view of her and immediately she noticed something was off

"Why are you looking at me like that?!" Jesse said

"Nothing" Bella said

"Okay so..." Jesse trailed off

"What do you want?" She asked boldly

"I just wanna be your friend, no harm" Jesse surrender her hands

She relaxed a bit before clearing her throat

"I dont wanna be your friend" She said before making attempts to leave

"At least tell me your name" Jesse said

"No need to know" Bella sighs before walking, she stopped and looked back once more

"I dont know when next I'll come here but I promise to come visit when I clock eighteen mom, dad" She thought then her eyes moved to Jesse who posed like she wanna snap a picture smiling at her

"My name is Arabella" Ana said 

Jesse jumped up happily before going to her

"So you accept me right" She asked smiling widely

"Yea" Bella shrugs

"It wouldn't be bad to make a new friend without letting uncle know right" She thought

"Thanks Bella" Jesse said

"You are Jesse right?" Bella asked to be sure

"Yea" She nods her head

Bella checked her time and realized she still has up to two hours before she'll go back home

"Can you show me around, a very nice place to be precise" She said

"Sure, trust Jesse with that" Jesse winks at her

"How about a restaurant, I'm kinda hungry" She added

"Huh" Bella said

"Yea please" She said forming a puppy face

"Oh" Bella murmur

"Okay but just an hour" She said as they walked down the road 

"Why did you approach me to be your friend?!" She added after some silence

"Because you are cute" Jesse chuckled

"Oh" That was all she could say

"Yea and I'm 18 though" She said

"I'll also be 18 in two weeks time" Bella said, from her eyes, she was getting tired of the chitchat but she didn't say anything

"Cool" Jesse said

What was on Bella's mind was why she approached her to be her friend even when she knows she's a hunter.

"Are you not afraid?" She suddenly asked

"Of what" Jesse said confused

"Of me" Bella said

"Why should I be?" Jesse smiled warmly at her

"I mean I can easily kill you" She shrugs

"And why will you kill me?" Jesse said confidently

"Cause you look like a killer yourself" Bella faced her and they stopped walking

Jesse laughed before her

"I'm sure because if you wanna kill me, you would have done that since you thought I'm a killer" Jesse said before blowing her an imaginary kiss

"Eww" Bella made a disgusting face

"Why?"

"You haven't kissed before?" Jesse chuckled

"And what if I said yes" Bella frowned lightly, to think she really hasn't kissed before

"Then you better do" Jesse said

They arrived at the restaurant and entered

"What's about a kiss?" 

"You love doing that right?" Jesse smirked

"Doing what?" Bella raised her brow

"Rolling your eyes" Jesse said

"Why?"

"Cause you are good in it" Jesse laughed

They both found a seat and sat down facing each other

"Well you are right"

"I love it" She demonstrate for her and she laughed

"Common stop it" Jesse laughed the more

"Stop what"

"This" She asked and repeated it again 

Jesse burst into another round of laughter 

"Okay okay I got it, you are good in it" She said amidst laughing

A waiter came to them and took their order

"So where are you living" Bella asked 

"In a very bigggg mansion" Jesse said demonstrating the mansion with her hand

"Oh" Ana said getting what she meant

The waiter returned with their order and they started eating

"Why are you not asking anything about me?" Bella asked

"Because I'll find out sooner or later" Jesse said

"Like?" She raised her brows confused

"You are a hunter, you are an orphan and lives with your uncle and his daughter and your lifestyle is boring blah blah blah" Jesse rolls her eyes

"Okay thanks for that" She chuckles seeing how she copied her eye roll

"Thanks for what" Jesse said

"For this" Bella demonstrate the eye roll again

"Yea I gat you" Jesse smiles

After they finished eating, Jesse paid for the food though Bella tried paying but she's not giving her the chance to pay

They went out after paying

"Thanks for today" 

"You are welcome" Jesse smile

Arabella turned to start going

"Wait" Jesse voice stop her

"Anything else" Bella turned to face her

"Your number" Jesse said stretching her phone for Bella to collect

"Oh"

She collected her phone and input her contact on it

"I'll be expecting your call" She said and stopped a cab since she's late

She went in and waved at Jesse, she waved back and started going her own way

A car stopped beside her and she entered as it zooms off.

When Bella got home, she met her uncle and his daughter in the sitting room.

"I'm back home" She announced and attempted to go to her room

"You're late Bella" He said

"Just 10 minutes late" Bella scoff looking annoyed with his statement

"You made a new friend" Her uncle asked

She turned to face them with a deep frown then her eyes moved to Anacole who had a huge smile on her face, she scoffed

"Are you monitoring me now" She asked

"No one will monitors you if you keep yourself safe" Her uncle said

"And do I look like someone who is incapable of keeping herself safe" She frowned deeply

"What..."
