Chapter Forty-Three: Battlefields and Bears

"Katie's POV"

"That's it!" I stood quickly and raised my hands. A powerful wind pushing dirt in Oliver's direction before cycloning around him. With a sound of a snap it all flew right back out. Poofing into the air, the dirt floated down to the ground like snow. Slowly, Oliver could be seen pacing my direction. Frozen like stone, I watched waiting for another shot to come my direction.

"I see the princess does have some spice!" He exclaimed loudly, sarcastically clapping his hands as he got closer.

"You know I am pregnant!" I shouted back, furious that he went so hard.

"I do," his foot steps paused three feet from me. "All the more reason you need to protect yourself." Raising his hand, he summoned fire. It twirled in his fingers as my panic soared. The moment he twitched to even move, I felt a pulse radiate from my body. Throbbing, it felt as it came from deep inside me. Looking him in his eyes, I let go. Pointing my hands straight, ice crystals form like little daggers and flew tow
