A knock came on the door and Nilsa opened it only to find Leo standing in front of the door.

“What do you want?” She asked crossing her arms.

“Can we talk?”

“No, after you ghosted me for two weeks, I don’t think I want to talk to you. Did you feel guilty about what you did that you needed more time to think about it” she inquired. Nilsa had expected Leo to apologize about his past when she told him the real reason why she didn’t want him but instead he never showed his face to her for two whole weeks making her mad.

“I was busy” she said.

“Well I am busy now and not in the mood to talk, come back when I am free” she replied pissed off, if he was truly busy then he would have at least informed her about it.

“Please Nilsa, hear me out. I had a lot on my plate that I couldn’t make time to visit you but I swear to you that I thought about you every minute” he uttered.

“Is that supposed to make me feel better, that I was on your mind rather than confronting me about it” she barked back at
