Chapter 74

Last night had been the best night for Beau, having never gone clubbing even back in his varsity years. Growing up in the Navarro family had been hell enough and Beau was not in the mood at all to party like a teenager, even though he practically was one. He was also thankful that Kaia shown no signs of being sick last night that gratitude was short lived when he woke up to find his wife’s side of the bed drenched in her sweat. He panicked again like he had yesterday, but today he decided not to wake Jen up.

Kaia woke up with a throbbing headache and yet again, a queasy stomach, hating herself for those three glasses of cocktails she had forced down as a way to not make Beau and Jen worry about her and want to just curl up in bed and sleep. She had felt horrible and still did. The fever attacking her body being all the evidence she needed that she needed to rest. She was not expecting to wake up with Beau starring down at her with such worry though.
