28|What a Great Day

I was glad our lunch meeting went well. That Ronan Christensen was a good person. Not only did he admire Grandpa and take him as his example, but he also treated Otis decently.

He was different from the attitude of the hotel visitors who passed us in the hotel lobby or sat in the restaurant dining room. They stared at Otis, hiding a mocking smile or whispering with their table mates. Otis wasn't that ugly, though.

Back at the office, I couldn't wait for the time to go home. Bruce handled all the files, and I just watched him work. So, I was bored doing nothing but picking up and depositing the documents into the archive room.

“I regret betraying Mr. Haworth,” Bruce admitted as he looked at the door to the CEO's office. “I won't be able to work in this position anymore because of that case.”
