“Marry me, Aubrey….”
Wait, did I hear him right? Did he just ask me to marry him? I stilled and lifted my head to look at him.
“What? Did I hear you right?” I asked, surprised.
“Yes. Marry me?” he repeated.
Oh My God, I did hear him right. I stood there, just staring at him. I needed a moment to process his words. Where did that come from? I was not expecting it.
