Chapter 6

Cohl POV

  I sipped the dakr and grimace, " this is not right" he groaned. "It doesn't even taste like the one at home at all". Cohl looked at his friend sa'ard, I thought you said they can make anything.

He pointed to his planet native drink. "This taste like ass" he said. Sa'ard grimaced "you don't need to compare it to that, I'm sure it's not that bad. He took the glass cup from hand and tasted it. He scrunched his face,"yeah, ok this is really bad".

" Tariq actually recommended the food and drinks here" he said sheepishly.

 I groaned,"Tariq" my other best friend, "I should have known, that guy has a poor judgement, and if by chance he made the right one. It's always by luck".

 Me and my friends -- Tariq and sa'ard decided to have a much needed vacation. So sa'ard and I trusted Tariq to find somewhere relaxing for us which seems to be the wrong move and one I've been regretting ever since we landed this ship.

 Even the name is cheesy, I mean, who names their ship 'Dream land'.

"Ahh tariq", I shake my head, I wonder where he is now, probably chasing anything he sees in skirt, I chuckled, that guy is a flirt. But he is loyal.

 The three of us have been friends since birth and we ve formed a bond that can survive through anything. Even if we give him shit we love him like a brother.

        I have got to admit they have a nice holographic scene, they even have a holograph of my planet tarvicc to make us feel at home and relaxed, their bar has a nice set up with different kind of drinks, their food it's -- well, it's so so.

Their waitress is not bad in the eyes too, especially their skimpy uniforms that barely covers their assets.

I keep getting eye invitations from the waitresses and servers, maybe if I take on one or two of them I can release the stress on my shoulders a little.

One of the waitress stopped at our table, I inhaled her scent loudly letting her know what I'm doing.

She turned to me and smiled calculatively, I guess she will do, I thought, she is pretty enough, I see she is from paax ' the cat tribe', those tribe are not to be trusted, they can stab you in the back and leave you to die without feeling any remorse.

They are mostly known for betrayal, deceit and jealousy, do I want to get involved with someone like that, I shrugged , its only sex.   

I can see her frowning, even sa'ard is looking at me weirdly..... shit, I must have been lost in my thoughts that I didn't hear what she said.

Luckily, sa'ard came to my rescue " This lovely waitress was asking if she can help you with ANYTHING".he said, stressing the anything.

 I nod," yeah, there are lots of things I need, maybe you can show me where they are" I said smiling. i held out my hand " my name is cohl, what about you". She shaked my hand, purring "Venice"

"Well venice" I said, " the batender here needs a crash course on how to make my native drink, would you be so kind to show me where the ingredients to make dakr is? probably...  In a storage room"

  Swaying her hips, her tail swishing left and right, " with pleasure cohl"

Turning to sa'ard I winked, ''see you later''

Shaking his head, sa'ard whispered " I hope you know what you are doing" he pat my back ."I'm going to my room to take a nap, see you later" then he left.

 Turning to Venice, I considered what sa'ard said, paax really are backstabbers, and if by chance Venice knows who I am, she might want to trick her way into my life, why didn't I think of this before. Suddenly I feel dizzy, swaying a little my eyes harden I'm on alert now, did someone spike my drink, could be someone close to Venice. Sending a message to sa'ard and Tariq through my private communication telling them I'm in danger and someone in paax is involved.

    I felt Venice nail dig my flesh, " are you okay cohl, you look flushed". " She wispered in my ear " Poor baby, I can't wait to make you feel better". It took all my strength not to vomit , why did I think she was pretty before, she looks like a vulture.

 Grunting, "I'm not feeling well venice, I'll take a raincheck" , her voice changed " sorry pretty boy, I can't do that" then everything went black.

Florest POV

 Shit, I must have fallen asleep. Why did I fall, I groaned inwardly I was just supposed to fake faint for a little while. i guess I was really tired for me to sleep in the process. Breathing tentatively, I don't want anyone to know I'm awake.

I opened my eyes in slits to see what's going on, she saw two females talking at the other side of the room, they are wearing white labcoat so she can assume they are doctors.

Feeling it's safe to make her presence known. She groaned loudly."ugh"

Putting her hands on her head to feign headache. She heard a "oh, you are awake"

Turning to face one of the ladies with labcoat. "Hello" she croaked, trying to clear her voice. damn, I must have slept for a long time, trying again she asked," where I'm i ?".

     The doctors both looked at her with concern , " oh honey, we were really worried about you when you wouldn't wake up" 

"How long have I been out" I asked,

 "Close to eight hours now, we were assigned to watch you and make sure you are okay. I'm Tabitha by the way'' , this lady here, she pointed to her second "is binta".

Trying to be polite, I responded "My name is Florest","where am I exactly", looking around, the room looks fancy, and if by chance I'm at a hospital I don't think I can afford the money they will bill me.

"Don't worry" binta said, "you are at Dreamland medical wing, you are perfectly safe.

But I've got to admit, I have never seen your type before, which planet are you from".

"Earth"

" Earth, where is that?, which quadrant?"

Tabitha hissed "stop asking her questions, can't you see she is still recovering"

"Oh", binta blushed " I'm sorry, I didn't mean to interrogate you like that, I was just curious since I've never seen an alien like you before".

   " It's ok, I understand, even I will be curious too" 

"So why don't you go stretch your legs, I'm sure you feel cooped up already"

I perked up "really, I can do that". Boy, they sure are relaxed I'm not going to run away. "Yeah, you can go and explore the ship and come back to rest when you are done".

  you don't have to tell me twice, sliding down the bed I wore my sneakers,slid my jacket on, I patted fur to make sure he is okay, he shivered.. good. "okay thanks, I will be back in a giffy" I said.

Walking outside, I took in the scene. Noting the different activities going on. I blew out a breath " this, is overwhelming. Exactly as I pictured it"

I still need to understand how I was able to get to the ship without any map or direction to guide me through but I guess.im Alice and I'm in wonderland for now I don't need to worry about it till further notice.

Seeing as I have cleared that , I decided to take up the opportunity to explore the ship, feeling my heart pounding, I felt a pull to the left , heading in that direction, 'I sure hope I don't get into trouble, I ve had enough for one day' I thought. The pull is getting stronger now.

Taking the stairs to avoid contact with anyone. I came across a section just like where I just left, but instead of it to be occupied and loud like rest of the ship, it looks cold and abandoned.

The place is dark like it's not used again, I'm getting a creepy vibe from it, I shiver. I want to turn back but I can't, this pull is getting stronger like I'm close to whatever is calling me.

I heard a grunt, it sounds toutured ...... I gasp, covering my mouth to not make any sound. The sound seem to be coming from the other side. walking slowly, I open different rooms but no one is inside, I heard the sound again but this time it's louder than before, it seems to be coming from the metal glass door few feets from me.

Patting fur to reassure myself that as soon as I know what is going on I will go and call security. Peeking through the glass, I saw a guy tied to a chair, I can't see his face well he doesn't look injured, but he looks toutured, a sound escaped him again "give it up Venice, it's not going to work" he said harshly, what's not going to work and who is Venice. gasping "oops, there's someone else in the room",

"Cohl baby, if you give me what I want, I'm sure we can make this work" a voice purred. The source of the voice belong to a cat lady, she is slim and tall, and really pretty I'm sure she can have any man she wants. When she walks, her tail moves in the same direction, swishing back and forth.

She looks farmiliar,I thought. I have seen someone that looks like her but I can't remember where I saw this person. 

Shaking my head, I need to save this person, whatever beef he has with this Venice lady, he is not supposed to be tied to a chair and tortured. that is just wrong. Besides, something keeps drawing me to the guy but I'm not sure what. If l go back to call security it might be too late, I need to take matters into my own hands.
