Diego's POV

I ruffled my hair, and shot my eyes tight the moment he uttered those words to me.

I tried to be calm but it wasn't working.

I hit the steering wheel so hard that my hand began hurting.

How would I find someone that doesn't want me to find her?

She's good at this. I guess she's used to running away because she left no trace of how I could find her.

Even my cards, she didn't use my cards, she didn't use her phone, it's switched off.

Why would Anna do this?

The truth was clear, I was in more pain than I've ever been. The thought of losing her was making my head go haywire.

I think she wanted to be on her own and would be back soon. I hope so because if she doesn't come back tomorrow, I'll call the cops and apply for a missing person.
