It was already 6pm in the evening and the cars of guests started to arrive...it was mainly of rich young teenagers like me or more like Mira's some of them were dropped off by Their older siblings or parents who seemed to be acquainted with or to Denise ...in a way...I think it was miss Esther or Susan who told me that some of the guests who were older seemed to be business associates who would stay in the large courts upstairs where a long diner table was found. While the others would stay with Mira in the hall. Some of the girls were elegantly dressed, some wore a mermaid gown... Even a ball gown, even some with a tea length gown still looked quite dashing and beautiful...I felt awkward. Miss Esther touched my arm and whispered almost immediately. " Go and find miss Mira...stay with her"

I seriously didn't want to do that...I was already too jealous of this rich peers of mine....gosh Soo intimidating.
