Orpheus Bathory.
"Salute! Salute!"
"Salute! Salute!"
An ascendant mumbled as they all stood up as Vladimir walked in. I was seated at the lesser throne as the son of the king. He had lifted up his hands and as he brought it down we all sat down.
Elders and high ranked ascendants had assembled as they all took their respective seats in rank.
"What do we have for today??" Vladimir muttered. His face was blank and his eyes were like a burning inferno.
"The Red Devil's Dynasty Coven wants an alliance with us." One of the ascendants spoke up as he stood up.
"An ally??" Lawst snorted, bellowing in anger.
"That's an insult to the Lethal bloodsuckers. They do not deserve an ally with us after all troubles caused by them in times past." Jezebel cursed. She was the high ranked witch in our coven.
She had watched me grow after my mother died. She embraced me like her own because I was naturally loved by dark magic.
Every coven had a witch who intervened for them. They were hybrids, a vampire-witch hybrid which was believed to be able to communicate with the supreme deity, Hecate.
They were highly revered in each covens as they could see incoming dangers and wave bad spirits from the covens.
"They seek an alliance and vow to pledge all their loyalty and be at your mercy my king!" Klaus mumbled. "And in every full moon nights, werewolves would be sent to us as slaves." He muttered.
Klaus was the oldest ascendant in the coven and we both had trained under Lawst. He was well skilled in archery and a swordsman of the king. He led major missions as the swordman. He knew nothing about magic and depended solely on his vampiric strength.
His body was always clipped with hot clippers that has been overheated on every of his victory which made his body filled with so much clips. His aura was completely dark and he was the favorite student of Lawst.
"Their coven received a brute attack from the immortal fangs. And they fear that they would be enslaved by them if you do not intervene." Klaus muttered as he sat down.
The hall became noisy again as they all grumbled. Immortal fangs were the most powerful vampire hunters in the vampire realm. They were rogues who came together in brute force to increase their strength until they get to control the vampire realm.
"Order!!" Klaus thundered at the order of father.
The hall grew silent, a deafening silence that made it possible for one to hear a pin drop.
"We shall vote. Whatever the highest votes agrees to then we shall go with it." Father muttered as he looked at the council members.
"Vote??" Lawst aggressively cursed as he stood up from his seat. "We do not have anything to vote here. Shadow moon coven has always had plans to revolt against us and now you want to consider their appeal??" Lawst fired in anger.
"We should not consider them!" Some elders grumbled making the hall get noisy again.
I sat down mute because it wasn't my concern.
"Lazarus failed. He do not deserve to have the peace even after death. I will not be part of any vote to the favor of the Red Devil's Dynasty Coven." Lawst bellowed angrily.
"The vote shall proceed!" Father sighs as he adjusts his black cloak.
The vote was against the Red Devil's Dynasty Coven.
"The council are getting tired of the long waits." Klaus stood up again as he read the second appeal. "The ritual must be conducted on the twelfth full moon night and we're left with ten full moon nights. Our most revered coven, the lethal bloodsuckers would be forever stuck in the doom of losing our most precious and strong members." He sighed as he rolled up the scroll.
The moment he dropped the scroll all eyes were fixed on me as I could hear indistinct chattering.
"Orpheus??" Father called out as I stood up. "You've heard Klaus. You volunteered to carry out this mission to get the blood of a vampire-werewolf hybrid. Yet we're left in the shadows as we slowly get to our doom, son. Do you have anything to say to the council?" He asked with a long blank face.
"I need more time to sought things out."
"Sought things out??" Lawst bellowed angrily. "You might be forgetting that you haven't reported to the regional secret house in Los Angeles." He snarled as he fumed with rage.
"The human world is a bustling city. It's complicated and rigid to bend."
"Orpheus??" Jezebel called out to me. "What do I hear about you getting so mixed up with humans ever since the attack??" She sneered in her lowliest tone.
"Mixed with humans??" I scoffed. "How then will I get the hybrid if I don't understand the human world better??" I snarled angrily. "I am the only fittest one for the mission because I am a transcendent and I can not be killed."
Lawst chuckled mockingly as he stood up. "Do not forget your place here Orpheus. We the elders of this coven can't sit back and watch you bring ruin to our coven. We strive and we left trails of blood with our fangs just to get this coven to where it is today." He cursed in rage.
"I couldn't keep hunting after I got attacked few days back. I have a sister to protect." I snapped in anger.
"And how about the coven. The coven is your family and every good done is for the betterment of everyone of us. We're running out of time." Jezebel scowled. "The third full moon night is few days from today." She mumbled.
"Silence!" Father growled as the noise died down immediately. "Instead of arguing with ourselves is there any suggestions that would lead to the success of the mission??" He asked as he watched them whisper to themselves.
"Hell no!!" I growled as I heard what they were whispering. I could feel my inner demon burn in rage. "I will never be in acceptance with your suggestion!!" I fired.
Lucinda Orlok. "Come on Lucinda, wait for me!!" She snapped as she hurriedly rushed out from the bathroom with a wet body. "Why are you always in a haste lately?? For me, the bar is completely tiring these days. Customers just keep increasing." She cursed under her breath. I stayed mute like I wasn't hearing her. I kept on arranging my purse, making sure I don't leave anything behind. "Durrh!!" She snapped as she cleaned her body dried before applying her pomade. Her fair was a glittering fair which made her skin glitter so well. Ever since madamé Elisabeta took me in the secret house, Rebekah has been a very good friend. I remember when I was first admitted in the secret house, I was the only vampire-werewolf hybrid and I had my wolf and my vampire to contend with as they were always conflicting. Adriana was a bully. Her vampiric strength was really mind blowing and she would bully the newly admitted vampires. She had her special clique she always moved with and for some reas
Orpheus Bathory. I drove into my residential building with a new oxblood Rolls Royce Boat Tail. I had just returned from the coven. By magic, portals could be created to lead us to the covens directly. "O.M.G!!!" Blaze gasped out excitedly as he saw me drive into the mansion. The compound was big enough to house up to 100 humans. It was a special mansion meant for the king and high ranked elders of the coven but father had given it to me since I was on a very special mission and would ascend the throne soon as the new vampire king. "Brother!!" Dawn screamed out as she rushed down to where I parked the car. She wasn't interested in me after all as she kept on walking round the car over and over again. "Wow!! Just wow." He sneared. "Don't tell me this is your new machine??" He scowled as he scanned the car. He kicked the tyre twice to confirm how awesome it was. I stepped down from the car with a long face. Lawst wouldn't easily give up on the throne. I had double-crossed him t
Lucinda Orlok.I was already done with brewing madamé Elisabeta's coffee already so I just had to leave it for Rebekah to go serve her. The bar wasn't really occupied so I had seen him immediately I walked into the bar. He was seated a bit far from the canter today, he was close to the glass window as he crossed his left leg on his right leg as he kept scanning outside. He was on a black suit as usual but this time he was wearing a black shirt inside which wasn't properly buttoned completely which exposed his full tattooed neck and the gold chain he was wearing. The gold chain glittered from the distance. I remembered the dress code of his bodyguards."Oh my.!" Rebekah poked the side of my stomach from behind. I vibrated a bit. "Gosh!!" I sighed. "Can you stop poking me like that always?? You keep scaring me." I scowled as I turned back to look at Orpheus."Isn't that his bodyguard from the Garbina bar days back??" She tapped my shoulder as she pointed at the oxblood Rolls Royce Bo
Lucinda Orlok."You have been chosen to lead this mission Lucinda Orlok." Madamé Elisabeta snapped as she arranged her glasses on. I don't know what was so important with those glasses of hers but she pampered it so much like it was her life. "But madamé…" I tried opting out.She had interrupted me immediately, "It's from the coven. You're among the best, the third best we have. We cannot send Rebekah Maj or Stefan Malfoy on this mission because they have to protect the secret house at all costs.""Why me when we have Alaric who could also lead the mission??" I shrugged. "You already chose your fate. The success of this mission would determine if the secret house would be permitted to sponsor your life outside the secret house." She muttered as she stood up from her wooden chair which had drawings of vultures in a gravesite. "And if I get captured??" I asked to clear all doubts."Lucinda Orlok??" She sighed. "We owe your late father, Lazarus a lot. You're my responsibility. I'll a
Lucinda Orlok."Capture them!!!" I heard the rusty old voice echo in the forest. We had started the mission the exact moment one of the vampires had disrupted my conversation with Stefan."Go, inform the alpha that some pathetic vampires has breached our territory!!" The gamma commanded as two of the pack warriors ran so fast with their werewolf strength to inform the pack. "You must secure the perimeter at all means. Kill as many as you can kill and capture those who willfully submit themselves to you!!" His voice echoed through again as the woods left shrieking sounds. We had all dispersed in terror. I couldn't control them as they fled in different directions just to hide from the angry werewolves. It was a mission we ought to carry out. It meant a lot to me as this determined if the secret house would be responsible for my welfare when I finally get to leave the walls of the secret house. I had seen few werewolves moving directly to me. I had to run into the woods with my vamp
Orpheus Bathory. "We have to leave tonight.!" Blaze snapped me out of my fantasies that were already playing over and over again in my head.I had given her my card. Soon enough I will win her heart and she will forever be mine being bound to me. "I heard the Invisible Claws Park was the supreme park in the woods here." He scowled. "If we can get to them and then penetrate their prison and get just the vampire-werewolf hybrid." He snorted as he drank his vodka."Prepare the vampires.!" I ordered as he exited just immediately to get them ready. "Hehe.! I won't be available in the bar tonight so shhhh… don't come visiting because they won't be any sweet espresso like me. Just remain good and I will be back tomorrow and I will surely call, you. Xoxo❤️." It was a voicemail from Lucinda. Hearing her voice sent me all excited as I could feel some goosebumps. Goosebumps?? I was a vampire after all. It was a full moon night and this was my biggest opportunity to get done with my mission a
Orpheus Bathory."You ruined it all completely yesterday.!" Blaze scowled. "That was our only chance and you wasted it. Definitely the coven would have no option than to summon you again and this time around Lawst definitely is going to send his son.""Like I care right now." I sneered as I continued reading the fashion mag I was reading. "I did what I had to do yesterday and by the way I'm not so dumb not to know when I see a virgin vampire-werewolf hybrid, I didn't feel anything yesterday.!" I snapped, I raised my head to see him staring at me. "I know you are disappointed but still have to remain loyal to me." I mumbled."I was born for that I guess." He sighed softly. [Phone beeps]I was totally tired from yesterday night. I recognized the lady from yesterday. I couldn't risk her knowing that I was some fiery vampire. It's been three months away since I bumped into Lucinda who had slowly turned to the woman of my dreams. Every single night all I end up craving for is to be clo
What do you call it? A phoenix from the fire?? I hurriedly drove to the address she had given me. It was a newly built estate in San Francisco by the Elias brothers and co, a famous construction company., The Garden City Estate.I had stopped at the front of her apartment which was a beautifully constructed skyscraper like it was an 8 star hotel. I walked into the building as I met a receptionist who directed me where I could see Lucinda's room number. 187. Ding dong… [The doorbell rang again twice]"I'm coming…" Her voice broke through her door. "Just give me a sec." She muttered briefly as she unlocked the door from behind. She had opened the door for me as I stood there, lost and completely blown away as I looked at her velvet lipstick on her moist lips which wasn't fully close. I remembered the night at Garbina's bar. Her beautiful sparkling blue eyes was so charming as I scanned through her modeled body. She was wearing a black tight gown which stopped halfway her oily thigh
