Chapter 147: Weaknesses

The gloominess hovering over Nicklaus was like a gathering rain storm. It had its breaking point but it wasn’t just yet. The conversation with Arya played out in his memories like a tape on repeat with a visual image of the look in her eyes. Those stares haunted his dreams and he doesn’t even sleep! How then was that possible?

He thought he had no fear, like hell he always pride himself in his fearlessness but right now he couldn’t recognize this sudden emotion.

He feared greatly! He dreaded the reality of being looked upon by her with such hateful eyes. It didn’t matter when others called him a monster, their words didn’t hold water in his ears but now this was different.
