Moving

“The guts…” Stephanie’s angry voice hit Chloe's ear as soon as she stepped into the living room of the Mansion.

She had ordered the guards to stop her at the veranda but Dawson phoned them from his home office and asked them to let her in.

“Chloe, you're here,” Sebastian said excitedly as he rushed down the stairs.

The duo hugged warmly which irritated not only Stephanie but Hilda who was watching from the second floor.

“The movers should be here anytime soon, you should go sort your things first,” Sebastian suggested and Chloe nodded in response.

Sebastian noticed how tense she looked so he wrapped his hand around her shoulder and gently patted her as they started to walk closer to the stairs.

“Does she terrify you?” He asked in a whisper and Chloe nodded again. “She used to scare me too when I was younger. Do you know how I conquered that fear? When she frowns, I assume she magically transforms into Shrek…”

Chloe burst into laughter, patting his chest as she tried to control
