Chapter 31
They arrived at the venue where the engagement party will take place. Amelia held Damian's arm as they walk towards the entrance. A staff opened the door for them. They entered slowly, pacing themselves. The murmuring crowd stopped and all turned to look at the star of the party. Their eyes wide in surprise as they gossip about Amelia who had a calm gaze as she looks around the room.
Damian walks with Amelia towards the stage. A staff handed him a microphone. "Everyone, I appreciate you all for coming today on this very important occasion. Let me introduce you all to my fiancee, Amelia" Damian slowly wrapped his arms around her waist. Amelia smiled gently at the motionless crowd.
