Chapter 38
Damian sat at the swivel chair in front of his desk. His brows were slightly pressed together as it became a habit for him every time he concentrates. The door of his office slowly opened and Haris quietly walked towards him, not making any unnecessary noises. After working with Damian for quite a while, Haris had already learned not to disturb Damian while he is working so intently.
"Sir" Haris calmly called.
Damian looks up to him. "What?" He asks before returning his attention to the document in front of him.
"I've received notice from Iago that madam Tara had visited the young madam today" Haris reported.
Damian stopped. He lifted his face to look at Haris. Damian leans back and crossed his arms. "What about Calia? What is she up to?" Damian asked.
"Madam Calia is the same as always. But, lately, she seems to be getting along with her husband. They had started to go on dates" Haris replied.

Ivote stood in front of a gravestone at their private cemetery holding a single piece of red rose, her daughter's favorite flower. He laid it in front of the gravestone before kneeling down on one knee. It was an action he wasn't used to doing but for his daughter, he could do anything."Hey, sweetie. Did you miss me? Damian woke up early. He had a planned date with Amelia today. He looks to his side and smiled at the sight of Amelia peacefully sleeping. Amelia and Damian had both left the store. They went to a bunch of boutiques and bought clothes and accessories for Amelia. Amelia had wanted to refuse Damian but he didn't give her a single chance to talk so she had no choice but to obey.In return, Amelia had requested a favor from Damian in return for buying her so many things. Amelia had requested for them to sit at a bench at a park while eating ice cream. Damian ended the call and places the phone on top of his desk. He looks at Alfred who was hanging Damian's coat on his closet."Alfred, from now on, I want Iago to follow Amelia wherever she goes inside the mansion" Damian ordered with a firm tone."As you wish, sire" Alfred answered.
