The air felt warm, the feeling of electricity wrapping around us. I stared at my mate in awe. The magic danced around her, enjoying the freedom and excited about finding its new host. The glowing skin lit up the area surrounding her, the power she emitted called to me. She was the spitting image of the woman who stood in front of her. Yet, she held the same devotion to her pack and mate, too, protecting them with her life, something Athena had already done and would do again, without hesitation.
