"Scarlett point of view,"
"The user you are trying to reach is now unavailable, but you can leave a voicemail, and they will get back to you as soon as possible."
"Please pick up the phone, Clara; there is an emergency." I called Clara and left a voicemail in a state of panic.
Until I speak with Clara, I can not leave this restroom.
How could I have made such a grave error?
Apparently, in my haste, I walked into the wrong room. I turned around and studied the luxurious washroom with awe.
Even though it's the dead of winter, the sweat beading on my forehead is evidence of how frightened I feel right now. Due to thirst, my throat is becoming quite dry. I'm moving my saliva up and down in my throat to quench my thirst.
I wish there were two doors in this bathroom, one of which opened to the street outside the hotel, so I could get out of this awkward situation. Unfortunately, there is no other way for me to leave this place.
"Clara, I need you to call me right away so you can help me get out of this awkward predicament."I fixed my pleading gaze on the screen of my cell phone.
My heartbeat was speeding up because of panic as the time on the mobile device continued to increase.
"Scarlett, what is going on with you? I just looked at my phone, and I saw your calls and messages."
"Thank God you reached out to me, Clara; I'm in an awful situation." As soon as Clara's call appeared on the phone screen, I exhaled with relief.
"Awful situation?
What kind of mess ?" her voice distinctly confused.
"I hurried into the incorrect room." I responded, gulping down my saliva.
"What?
Scarlett, how could you create such a mess? Are you aware of the difficulties I will face because of your mess?" She yelled indignantly.
"Clara, I apologise, but I didn't intend to do anything like that." I said slowly, wiping the sweat from my forehead.
I merely apologised for entering the wrong room, but I'm sure she'll be quite upset when she finds out I was actually in Mr. Oscar's room and not some other person's.
"Okay, Scarlett, now put the mess behind you and head straight for the address I gave you." I heard her breathing in and out over the phone as she took two to three deep breaths to control her rage.
Oh no, now I have to give her a detailed explanation of what's going on.
"Clara, as long as that man is present in the room, I am unable to exit the restroom." I tried to calm my racing heart by twitching my fingers.
"Why?
Why are you having a problem exiting the room right now?
You clearly stated to that person that you entered this room by accident.
Scarlett, are you not capable of handling such a basic situation?" The displeasure in her voice was palpable.
"Clara, you don't understand my issue; I entered Mr. Oscar's chamber, not the room of some unknown random guy." I tried to make her comprehend the gravity of the situation by emphasising the name Mr. Oscar.
"Are you telling the truth, Scarlett?
Are you certain that you are currently in Samuel's room?" Why did her voice suddenly return to normal when she should have been in a panic over this terrible situation?
"Yes, I am speaking to you while I am covertly using Samuel Oscar's bathroom.
Please, Clara, spare me from this uncomfortable predicament." I pleaded with her.
"You scared me, Scarlett, but there's no need to panic; you've come to the perfect place."
"What?
What are you saying, Clara? How could you send me to meet your boyfriend in this manner?" Hearing her words made me feel as if someone had ripped the floor out from beneath me.
"Scarlett, please stop bothering me. Samuel and I have been in a relationship for 5 years, and we have a relationship full of trust, just like an ideal husband and wife. If you spend time with Samuel once, there is no problem." I got the impression from listening to her statements that the circumstances did not affect her.
"Clara, that's wrong; you shouldn't intentionally mislead Samuel."
"Why are you taking this inconsequential matter so seriously, Scarlett?
Samuel was excited to spend time with me, but I unexpectedly had to leave town for a calendar photo shoot. There will be no problem if you spend some time with him today, and I will transfer the full amount to you as I promised."
"Clara, have you lost your mind?
Mr. Oscar is here to meet you, and it served no purpose in sending me to your place."
"Scarlett, my photoshoot was very important to me, and no matter what happens, Samuel and I are getting married soon, so you don't need to be concerned about our relationship. I sent you there merely to help you since you needed the money for your mother's treatment; the rest is up to you." She is taking advantage of my helplessness because she knows I am in desperate need of money right now.
But I don't want to put up with her insanity at all costs.
However, I desperately need money right now. How else will I be able to pay for my mother's medical care? However, since Samuel Oscar is my friend's boyfriend, I can't spend the night with him in the same room.
I should go outside right away and apologise to Mr. Oscar for my error. How will I then pay for my mother's medical care?
"Can you hear me, Scarlett?" It distracted me from the internal struggle when I heard Clara's voice.
"I'm sorry, Clara, but I can't. Instead, I'll go outside and express my regret to Mr. Oscar before leaving the room." In a stern tone, I informed her of my decision.
"But if you don't get your mother treated, she might pass away." She made another attempt to fray my fragile nerves.
"I entered this room solely to make money, Clara, but I didn't expect that from you. I am now exiting the restroom." Before she continued to blackmail me about my compulsions, I disconnected the call from my end.
I collected the courage to walk out of the restroom, and as I took a step toward the door to face, Mr. Oscar, I caught sight of Samuel Oscar standing in the doorway.
"Samuel's point of view,""How dare you enter my room, Scarlet Neve?" I had been waiting in the room for Clara for two hours, and when she still hadn't shown up, I was about to leave when I heard a noise coming from the bathroom. Is Clara in the restroom? No, this is not possible. Why would she spend two hours in the restroom? I waited outside the restroom door to see who was inside. Although I could not make out the details of what was occurring there, the sound emanating from the bathroom made me feel as though I recognized the voice. But if this is not Clara's voice, who is inside the restroom with a voice that sounds so familiar to me? Curiosity got the best of me, and I ended up opening the restroom door. "I'm sorry, Mr. Oscar; I did not know this was your room." She uttered it in a frightened whisper. When I opened the bathroom door, I overheard her saying on the phone that she had come to this room simply for money; therefore, I am quite certain that she had only come fo
"Scarlet's point of view,"Samuel Oscar left me alone in the hotel room. My body no longer has the strength to allow me to cover my body. I moved my foot to the bed's edge to grab a sheet to cover my body. After a sleepless night of crying, I woke up with dry eyes. He penalized me for an error that I didn't make intentionally. He said he didn't want to see my nasty face ever again. I won't ever see him again. The way he tortured me the entire night made it crystal clear to me that, after that, the man does not have a heart in his chest. I took up the check that was lying beside me and examined the amount that had been written on it. This sum is significantly greater than what Clara had promised me. With this much money, I could easily treat my mom. I mustered what little strength I had and checked out of the motel, heading straight for the hospital. My mother's heart operation went well. As time passed more quickly, I forgot about the incident involving Mr. Oscar. Clara and I had
"Samuel's point of view,""Mr. Oscar, Following your instructions, I've brought Scarlett Neve here." I was sitting in my office waiting for her when my PA notified me of Scarlett's arrival. "Well, you still have revealed nothing to her about me, do you?" I closed the open file on the table in front of me. "No, Mr. Oscar, I lied just as you had instructed me to, to bring her here." My PA responded gently. "Okay, you may send her to my office." I put on the coat hanging on my chair and turned my chair in the other direction so that she could not see my face when she entered my office. I never imagined that one day I would summon the girl whose face I never wanted to see again. but all its all i have to do just because of my mother."May I come in, Mr. Brown?" I raised my hand in the air and motioned for Scarlett to enter after hearing her voice. "Mr. Brown, Your PA informed me you were interested in hiring me and that you liked my resume." She took a stride toward my chair. "If yo
"Scarlet's point of view,""Samuel Oscar, what do you want? How dare you treat me like this!" As soon as I walked into his office, I confronted him with my rage. "Oh, Miss Neve, how did you get here? Have you got any crucial work to do with me?" He took the file off his face and grinned evilly while turning to face me. "Stop acting like a fool; you know why I've come here." Before this, I did not know that Samuel Oscar was such a terrible and shallow man; I had only ever heard praise for him in the media. However, his behavior toward me has shown the diabolical nature that lurks beneath his seemingly sweet exterior. "Okay, Miss Neve, I like girls like you who don't overthink things and speak with clarity." He stood up from his chair and walked over to me."I want to marry you and have my child with you." "I already declined your offer; why didn't you get my point right away?" I moved back to get away from him. "Well, I get what you're saying completely, but this time you came
"Scarlett's point of view,"I have agreed to marry a man who I hardly even know, giving in to my compulsions. I've either read about Samuel Oscar in business magazines or heard about him on television news programs. Clara never provided me with any precise details regarding Samuel. I feel as though my life is a nightmare in which I keep tumbling down a deep well yet cannot shout because I can't raise my voice high enough. I returned to the hospital and went to my mother's room. However, my mother was not in that room; instead, a different patient was lying on that bed. Where did my mother suddenly vanish? Have the staff members at the hospital discharged my mother? But after agreeing to all of Samuel's demands, why has Samuel interfered with my mother's medical care? "We have moved your mom to the VIP room, Miss Neve.""What?" My mother's nurse told me as I was on my way to ask about my mother at the hospital reception. They moved my mother to a VIP room, but why? "Even the hos
"Scarlett's point of view,"The repeated alarms jolted me awake. Today is the big day—my wedding. Like most women, I had many fantasies about my future husband. Alas, fate had other plans for me, and I shall be married to a devil instead of a prince. Do you still have the same perspective on him? My subconscious begs me to overlook Samuel's prior transgression of his recent good deeds, but my heart is in no way prepared to do so. For the sake of my mother and my unborn child, I am getting married to him. Again, I reaffirmed my purpose in my mind. But what if you developed feelings for him after getting married? Samuel Oscar looks unmistakably like a Greek god. In front of him, a flurry of female bodies is always in motion. He can hypnotize any female with just one look. But it has been challenging for me to feel affection for him after the horrible form I saw him in that evening. "Miss Neve, good morning." My phone's display flashed an unknown number. I struggled to say good mo
"Scarlett's point of view,""Scarlett, what makes you stare at me so strangely?" Seeing me, the woman inquired. "How are you here?"What this woman is doing in this place is still a mystery to me. "Oh, Scarlett, that's my mother." Samuel spoke in a low voice as he drew near to my ear. "What?" His statements caught me off guard. What have I done, oh no? How am I so careless? I had told all the things of my heart, considering that woman a stranger, but this woman is actually Samuel's mother. "Sorry, Aunty, I didn't recognize you." To conceal my shame, I closed my eyes. "Scarlett, no worries." While embracing me, the woman said. "You can still share all your secrets with me as a friend because my son is unaware of the talk we had that day." She whispered into my ear. "What?" I gave that woman another confused glance. "Scarlett, please call me Mom instead of Aunty;" I can tell that woman is only pretending to be happy. It filled her eyes with many questions, as I could see. "Mo
"Scarlett's point of view,""Good morning, Scarlett. How are you? We haven't spoken in a while." It caught me off guard when Clara appeared in front of me. And the longer I watched, the more shocked I became at what she was doing in Samuel's lap. What is she doing in Samuel's lap if she congratulates us on our marriage like other guests have? No, this is not possible. I must be dreaming, I guess. Samuel told me that he and Clara are no longer dating, so I don't understand their seeming closeness. Did Samuel mislead me? I regarded him with skepticism. Upon seeing him, I had the impression that he was not at all concerned by my presence. He was curled up in a comfortable position, his head resting on Clara's neck. "Honey, your new wife just walked in the door, and she wants to join you for breakfast." Running her fingers through his hair, Clara whispered, "I have no desire to converse with this girl. You instruct her to leave this part of the house." While nibbling on Clara's nec
