James POV Avery is my wife, and I love her. I love her so much that my heart aches sometimes. From the moment she walked in and asked me to help the farmers, I was struck by how stunning and brave she was. Her Hazel eyes glowed with specks of gold in the sun and I felt my heart stop immediately. I was in love, and I needed her with me forever. I knew that she was a commoner, and I knew about her disability —that she couldn't shift, but I didn't care. I just wanted her.It was difficult to convince her to marry me so quickly, but I knew I could make her happy and my persistence finally won her over. Chapter 4 Avery's POV When I awoke, James had already left. Usually he’d wake me up with kisses when he was about to leave but I guess he must have forgotten to do so today. I wonder why.
