We were back at the mansion. Azriel got out of the car as soon as it came to a stop and walked into the hours with his shoulders slumped.

I immediately rushed after him to see him heading towards the bar. He brought out a bottle of whiskey, sat down on the barstool and began chugging the drink down right from the bottle.

“What are you doing?” I asked, walking over to him, hoping he would slow down from how much he was drinking. He didn't even wince as the alcohol burned down his throat.

“What does it look like I'm doing?” Well, the grumpy Azriel was back.

I walked up to him and snatched the bottle from him, drinking it right from the bottle. The taste burned down my throat but I couldn't seem to stop.

Azriel raised his eyebrows in surprise. “Stop it, Delilah. Give it back.” He gritted out.

I ignored him. “It's all my fault, you know?” I said, already feeling light headed.

“What the fuck are you talking about?” He asked in confusion.

“That young guy's death, it–”
