The library is my favorite place in this house. It was a place where I could just drown the world out and have a moment to myself.

To just… breath.

It's officially two months since I've been brought into this pack. Two months of not living my life the way I wanted. Two months of not seeing my grandmother. Two months of not hearing her sweet voice singing to me as I cooked.

God, I missed her so much.

I worried for her. Was she eating properly? Was she taking her drugs? Who cooked her meals? They were the questions that continued swimming through my mind.

My parents had died when I was only five. I didn't know them much, only heard good things about them. And a few pictures of them. I couldn't even recall any memories with my parents.

Grandma Alma had easily filled in the position of both parents in my life from a tender age and I couldn't have it any other way.
