"I think it's Nicholas's car, right?" Nate muttered. "But what I don't understand is why he's following us."

I didn't want to say anything because maybe he had an idea, what he had said to me in the elevator had left me thinking. Nicholas was jealous of Nate, that much was obvious.

"I don't know, I think so," I admitted, looking in the rearview mirror. The car was coming at a considered distance.

"Shit," Nate swore, reaching for his cell phone.

“What are you doing?

"I'll call him and ask him what he wants."

"Don't do that," I lowered his hand with the cell phone, "Maybe he's just behind us because we're on the same road, anytime he turns off for the company."

“You think?

"I'm sure," I agreed.

Nate decided to trust me and put the phone away, speeding up a bit. On the highway several cars overtook Nick making us lose sight of him. Now we no longer looked at it at all because of so many cars that came behind.
