Freya flinched whimpering out feeling a soft touch over her forehead, she slowly peered her hazy eyes open only to meet with familiar concerned grey ones. After what happened last night with Leonard, Freya found it hard to sleep in fear of him coming back. She didn't even dry her hair after taking a shower again.

"My daughter, you burning in fever!" It was Sofia who sat who decided to check on Freya after she didn't come for the breakfast.

The fragile girl was trembling stuffed inside the heavy blanket, Sofia's eyes widened in alert after seeing how terribly Freya was sweating, and the moment she touched her forehead she knew the reason behind her quivering form. She was having a fever and not just a mild one, her body was literally on fire.

Freya couldn't find her voice to speak, she wanted to blurt out everything that Leonard did to her last night, she wanted to tell her uncle and aunt but wasn't able to as her throat felt extremely conjugated, Sofia cooed at her caress

You clearly don’t understand what fevers are and how they work and bruising is from the rupture of venules beneath the skin, on ointment would do absolutely nothing for a bruise.
