Evan groaned sitting up on the bed, his tired eyes fell over the IV that was attached to his hand, expecting to see the walls of his house he moved his gaze around the room only to freeze on the spot. He steadily blinked his eyes taking the surroundings in check only to conclude in the end that.

Then where the hell was he? The room looked decently furnished and a bit wider than his original one. There wasn't much stuff placed in the room as well, he doubted that his father took him here. The place looked expensive and he knew after he lost his job his father was struggling to even provide food for both of them.

Just when he was ready to call for someone he heard the door being opened followed by soft footsteps entering the room, and the moment his eyes caught the sight of that familiar face he stilled. The woman he never even in his wildest dreams thought would ever appear in front of him was standing near the door holding shopping bags in her hand.
