Watching as they both prepared to leave, Ivan hesitated a bit.
He had already convinced himself that nothing bad was going on with his friend, or at least nothing bad enough to be alarmed about. So he saw no point in following the pair, thinking to stop being a busybody and return to his part of the camp trying to pretend that it hadn't happened.
