Chapter 69

Anna's POV

At the end of the court session, I took my leave after seeking permission from Alpha Jasper.

Right now, I was in the middle of the chamber, my hands wrapped around my body as I reviewed everything that had happened that day.

If I was told that Alpha Noah would stoop so low and connive with Selena to make a mockery of me which would have led to my death if not for Alpha Jasper's meticulous thinking, I wouldn't have believed. In fact, his pack would have been the last place I would have run to for shelter.

Suddenly, my head began to bang because of my excessive thinking and I slowly made my way towards the bed, my eyes slightly shut as I winced in pain.

Instead of resting my aching head, I began to review the so-called fun scene Alpha Jasper had told me about earlier which had turned out to be something else.

Still trying to put an end to the splitting headache that was threatening to split my head into two equal halves, the door creaked open and Alpha Jasper stepped in.
