Anna's POV

I couldn't believe what had just happened. My hand throbbed from where I had struck Alpha Noah, and I felt a mix of shock and disbelief coursing through me. How could I have hit him so hard?

"Leave!" I yelled again, my voice trembling with a mixture of fear and anger. But Alpha Noah just smiled that creepy smile of his, as if my rejection only fueled his determination.

"Is that all you've got, Anna?" he taunted, his voice dripping with arrogance. "No matter how hard you hit me or push me away, I'll always love you. And I'll always come back to you."

His words sent shivers down my spine, and I couldn't help but wonder how someone could be so relentless. Didn't he understand that I wanted nothing to do with him?

"There's nothing between us, Noah," I snapped back, my arms folded tightly across my chest. "For your own sake, and if you would love to retain your position as the Alpha, please stay away from me!"
