chapter seventy

CELESTIA’S FIRST PERSON POINT OF VIEW

We got to Thomas’ quarters. It was empty and almost did not feel like the house I used to come into which was full of life and felt like home. My home was not there. I was moved to tears but swallowed it. I gained access with the extra set of keys he had given me.

“There is really no one here.” Edward said looking around. The living room was a bit messy and dusty.

“Yes…” I said absentmindedly.

“I wonder where they are all at.” Grace said.

“They are probably still at the police custody. The security had taken the staff with them for interrogation over what happened here.” He explained and I nodded.

“I will be back.” I said to them both and rushed upstairs. I entered Thomas’ room and felt weak in the knees. I fell to the floor and held on to the bed frame as I cried my eyes out. The energy in the house was different. It was screaming vengeance in my head. After bawling for about thirty minutes, I wiped my face and returned downstairs to them both.
