I'm still in a dream state because I can see Gregory sneaking inside my dorm room. He's watching me sleep and I can see that my body keeps on tossing and turning from my bed. When Gregory went near my body, he smiled as he looked at my exposed neck.
When his fangs show up as he smiles and looks at me before bending over to my sleeping body. He sinks his vampire fangs to my exposed neck and I felt a sharp pain. The skin on my neck stings like hell after he takes away his vampire fangs from me.
Gregory just sits beside my body for the longest time as if waiting for me to wake up. But he became impatient and stood up. To my horror, he looked me directly in the eye. Then he was away and just vanished in thin air. That's when I walk to go outside of my room.
I see the dark hallway and I'm floating to where the bathroom is supposed to be. But it's so dark that I can see another place instead of my dorm. I know that it's the other side where spirits live different creatures of darkness.
Finally, I was able to reach the bathroom and the ghosts who were hunting it were all present. That's when I realized that I'm just reenacting what happened to me. I didn't die in my sleep like Angel and I thought. That vampire bit me and passed me his venom.
I woke up breathing frantically as if I was running in a marathon. My forehead is covered with cold sweat and I feel very thirsty. I need to drink or I will pass out again. But when I looked from my blurry vision, there's no one around.
Another realization hits me, I'm not in my room! I panicked and felt like I was drowning. But my thirst seems to have become stronger. I need to have a drink or I'm not sure what will happen to me. Then I see Gregory enter the room.
"You're finally awake!" He said and sat on the side of the bed facing me.
"I'm thirsty…" that's all I can say.
I can stop myself to think about a glass of ice-cold water. That will quench my thirst for sure. But Gregory just smiled and offered his wrist to me. I didn't understand his gesture and looked at him frowning.
"You need to drink my blood so you will feel better," Gregory suggested.
I rejected his offer and turned my back on him. But the moment I did, the sweet smell of his blood made my stomach growl. It seems like when you smell the aroma of a very tasty dish. Although it's not the same as that because it's his blood I'm craving for this time.
Gregory insisted I drink blood from his wrist but I tried my best not to give in. He lay down beside me and waited until I paid attention to him. I turn around to face him and I swear, I can see his blood running through the veins of her neck. I can also clearly hear his heartbeat.
I lick my lips involuntarily with that sight. His blood smells so sweet and intoxicating. I moved closer to him and started to look at him like a hungry animal. But as much as I wanted to bite his neck, I just can't seem to bring myself to do it. I know that it's not normal to crave someone's blood.
"I get it! Do you want to drink from my neck? Go ahead, my love!" He gave his permission.
After hearing that he's allowing me to bite his neck and draw blood from it, I already lost it. I sank my teeth to his neck and tasted his blood. Just what I suspected, it also tastes sweet like how it smelled. It's so satisfying, I want to have more. So, I sank my teeth deeply to have more of Gregory's blood.
But the more I drank from his blood, I suddenly saw something from my vision. It seems like it's a memory and I can't just ignore it. I saw Gregory sitting from a castle, lonely and waiting. Then it brought me to another memory where he's drinking and laughing with women.
After the party, he walks away still looking lonelier than before. Then another memory came through. This time, he's stalking a woman from a dark alley. When the woman noticed him, she ran as fast as she could. But the vampire is faster. He cornered her and bite her neck and feast with her blood
I see more of his hunting and killing spree from the past. It seems that all of his victims are women. He usually stopped and took a good look at the woman's face. As if he's trying to find out if she's the one that he's looking for. But everyone seems to be the wrong woman and he sucks their blood for them to die.
It's a horrible past and I can't help but also feel sad with what I'm seeing. After all the killing spree for the past years, he finally lost all hope and just gave up. He ended up hunting animals for their blood instead. As if he refused to kill more people and get disappointed in the end.
Then one day, his lonely life seems to change. I see that he's finally smiling as he's looking into something. He's standing at the rooftop of a skyscraper but his eyes are sharp like a hawk. He can see everything at that distance and he's smiling from the sight of a woman.
That woman looks like she's talking to herself while on her way home from school. She looked up and smiled at him. That's when he knew that his search was over. He finally found his bride who will be his companion with his immortal life. It looks like a happy ending if I didn't realize that he was looking at me.
"Okay, enough drinking for now!" Gregory pushed me away from him slightly.I almost didn't let go of him because his blood made me quench my thirst as well as satisfy my hunger. But I never thought that I would see his memories from my vision from drinking his blood. It's so vivid as a dream but the only difference is that it was his memory.Gregory wiped his blood from my lips clean with his thumb. I feel like a child who needs to be taken care of by an adult. But I like the gesture and I can get used to it. Nobody has taken care of me ever since my grandma passed away. But it's too much to ask from anyone until Gregory."Welcome to my world!" Gregory said to me, smiling sweetly.I wasn't able to take a good look a
It's a surprise marriage and I never thought that Gregory was serious about it. But since we're already in the chapel, I don't have a choice but to play along. There were about six vampires who attended our wedding ceremony. They all look like couples and ready to catch me in case I change my mind about it.I'm not sure if the priest is human though. But he looks stoned the entire time. Maybe Gregory hypnotized him or something. He's not pale to be a vampire so I concluded that he's human. I absent-mindedly touched my neck where Greg bit me while I was asleep from my dorm."Do you, Gregory Duke, take this woman as your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest asked in a robotic tone."I do!" Gregory replied to the priest.
Waiting for a destined lover for 500 years has never crossed my mind when I met Gregory from the other side. That was just yesterday and now, we're already married.I've learned that for vampires, it's more important for them to have a companion. Our marriage is not exactly because of love like humans were trying to accomplish.Vampires don't have to worry about the need to have children. All they have to do is to bite someone and give them their blood. That's how newborn vampires like me were created. After the wedding, Gregory left me by myself inside the room where I woke up earlier. I'm not sure what I have to do now that I was left alone. After becoming a vampire, I already feel bored.I
"Gregory! Don't ever do that again!" I firmly said when I realized that it was him.I can see him smirk with his white teeth and fangs protruding from his luscious lips. It made me think about how those lips will feel on me besides my lips. We already kissed twice before so I have an idea that they taste sweet."What are you doing here? Let's get back outside!" Gregory said and took my hand.My thoughts about how his lips tasted made me feel embarrassed. How come I have to think about that the moment I see him? But I tried to hide my thoughts and just followed him with one hand on his.I have never been so close to a guy before and I can’t help but feel as if I’m blushing. That&rs
Learning how to be a vampire is not easy. I thought that all I needed to know was how to hunt for food. But it’s more than that because there are restrictions now that I'm already a vampire.Gregory is very patient in teaching me and I appreciate that. But there are times that it gets on my nerves. I didn't know that I needed to learn the vampire's way of living.I have to act like a proper lady whenever the vampires gather. I disagree since we are all bloodsuckers there anyway. But Gregory has a status quo to uphold and I have to protect it as well as his wife. There are times that I don't even want to join their grand get-together. Although I'm not sure if Gregory will allow me to avoid it. I don't want to know how he will react if I dec
Gregory approaches me and the "Nuno" steps back right away. I can see the fear in their eyes as they look at my husband."Mary, you have to run, he's a vampire!" One of the "Nuno sa punso" informed me.They are smaller than dwarves but bigger than fairies. Some urban legends say that they have supernatural powers and they are magical by nature."Don't be afraid, he's my husband!" I laughed with their ignorance."Really? You must be a vampire now!" The older Nuno concluded."Yes, I'm a newborn vampire. So don't worry, you know I wouldn't hurt anyone!" I explained.
A few days had passed after I saw Gregory talking to Angel. I don't dare to ask my husband about it. He's already too sensitive about my feelings for him. I don't want him getting jealous of the grim reaper. No matter how curious I was, I chose to keep my questions to myself. After all, we are going to Romania in a month. That's where the vampire council is located.Since I'm a newborn vampire, I need to prove myself to the council. Every new vampire needs to show themselves according to Gregory. That's why I have to be there along with him. There was a case before when a lot of newborns emerged. They end up being mindless creatures with a massive thirst for blood. The council was made to take control.
"What are you talking about?" I was surprised by her reaction. "I'm your husband's ex-girlfriend. Don't you ever feel insecure that I'm here?" Victoria asked. We're still standing in front of the door where she was supposed to stay. Our conversation seems to be going nowhere. Why should I be jealous of her? Sure, I'm aware that she was Gregory's ex-girlfriend. But I don't think he will let her stay here just to make me jealous. "Sorry, I'm not the jealous type! Get in so you can be more comfortable." I dismissed myself. Victoria raised one eyebrow and looked unconvinced. But I just ignored her and went down to the stairwell. I need to get some fresh air from that conversation. Or should I say,
