Chapter Fourteen

She had visited the places her husband chose, some were regular, some were new but they were five stars, for rich people. She wasn't born rich. It didn't attract her.

She parked the car when she found the parking, which seemed ages to her. She opened the dashboard. There were guns.

She stared at them before shutting it. She got out of the car.

Locking it, she drew into a breath. She drifted her eyes around at the crowd. Her smile was real and big.

It would get cool when the sun went down. But she wasn't bothered, "Park," She muttered happily, lazily wandering around.

A smile lit her face as she glanced around all the faces. The kids were playing around. The sun was up and shining, pushing the cold away.

She sat on the bench, just staring at the people around her. Her gaze landed on ice cream.

Her feet carried her over to the shop but then she realized she wasn't carrying cash with her. She was so disappointed.
