5 # Devastated Cafe

Liam's POV

"No, I mean. Umm, you are not a man who spends one nightstand," He halted, "As we have seen, I think she is mute."

Aiden's words stabbed my heart if I could do something that just to avoid his gaze. He and Bryan were staring at me.

I'm driven crazy by her ocean blue eyes. Her eyes were reflecting innocence. Her long light brown hairs were brushing her slender waist. She was damn beautiful. The word 'beautiful' is less for her. When I held her in my arms, she was too fragile in my immense hold.

For a second, I forgot all cruelty inside me. I never stare at any girl in this manner. Her elegance caught me to her. I don't know whether she will survive in my dark world or not, but I can't let her go.

No matter, if she is mute. I want her, I want her at any cost.

I have only a week to get her and two days have been passed already. I texted Nathan to give me information about her.

"SHE IS CAROLINE'S FRIEND, ELSA."

Nathan's words were reverberating in my sanity.

"Elsa..." beautiful name for the gorgeous girl.

****

It has been night, I received a mail from Nathan. He is too extensively loyal to his duty.

Opening the PDF file, I got all the things, I wanted to know about her.

In short,

Elsa D'cruise, 21 years old. 25 December is her birthday. An orphan girl, raised by her maternal aunt Lily D'cruise.

Just completed her graduation and now running the cafe with her aunt.

No boyfriend.

Not engaged.

Best Friend: Caroline

There is a lot of information in the PDF. More than I expected.

Huh, he also sent the link of her social media account. Including her phone number. I checked her profile on social media.

She is fond of social media, is she? For a second I thought and started looking for her. She has a private profile. I could not see, so many things about him due to the privacy set up.

That's good. She is not the thing to be published. I don't like. In her DP, she was hugging her aunt Lily, If I'm not wrong.

Nathan didn't mention that she is mute. Maybe, he didn't think to mention this about it, but he knows the rules. Whatever and however is the truth, but if I ask for information about something, he must have to mention everything. Then, why didn't he mention?

I want to call him right now, but I skipped the idea, as tonight is his wedding night. I was waiting for the morning. There was no sleep in my eyes.

# Third Person's POV

He glanced at his wrist. It shows ten past seven. He was dressed in a perfectly tailored expensive grey tuxedo.

He got up rapidly and took long strides towards his car.

"Brother..." Bryan shouted from the back.

"Why are you in so much hurry, Bryan? Aiden you also?" Liam whirled to see his brother running to him.

"We are coming with you," Bryan hardly asserted breathing heavily.

"Why?" He narrowed his eyes with a grimace in his eyes.

"To check upon our sister in law," Aiden replied in a calming tone. But only got a deadly glare from Liam.

"You aren't coming with me. I warned you that you won't ruin my holidays," Liam reminded his warning.

"Okay, if you are taking us, we will be there by ourselves," Bryan shrugged.

"Who told you where I'm going?" Liam groaned at them and feeling annoyed by them.

"We know you, brother," Aiden hugged him from the side and pulled him to walk with him.

Moving ahead, Liam rolled his eyes with frustration. They got inside and the driver ignited the engine of the black SUV. Soon the SUV ran on the road.

Liam was desperate to see her again.

"Ohh, my child, why are you here? I can handle the cafe alone, take rest," Lily politely complained to Elsa.

Elsa communicates without voice that she felt bored at home and wanna help her and she emerged inside the cafe.

She felt like someone was gazing at her. She whirled and ran her gaze around but nothing to find except cars and two-wheelers were hurrying on the road. She shrugged and whirled back to face Tina, a worker in the cafe.

"How are you feeling now, Elsa?" Tina smiled and asked her regarding her health.

She gestured her hand and showed as she is good. Her Rosy lips curved into a smile. She tried to utter but her voice doesn't take the name of coming out. She rolled her eyes and showed her three fingers to Tina as she was saying that it will take at least three days.

Liam was observing her from far. Her smile was tickling his heart. His lips automatically turned into a curve.

"Brother, she affects him a lot," Bryan whispered into Aiden's ear.

"Yes, she affects me," Liam glared at him and that was enough to shut Bryan's mouth. He thinned his lips were to nervousness as he was caught by Liam.

He started admiring her again, as the cafe was completely open and the glass walls were making a way for him to see her every action.

A small girl came there. She smiled like the girl and the girl pulled her outside. The girl showed her flowers grew on the pot, which was planted by her. She likes flowers and that's why the small cafe is decorated with different types of flower plants.

She understood the demand for the girl and plucked a daffodil flower and handed it to her.

The girl pecked on her cheeks that made Elsa smile broadly. Elsa knelt and hugged the small girl and kissed on her forehead. Actually, the girl is the daughter of Mr Pinto, who owns the bakery beside the cafe. Liam couldn't stop himself from peeking at her.

"Brother, I'm hungry. Can we have at least coffee at her cafe?" Bryan broke the silence in the car.

"Let's go," Liam opened the door of the car. He instructed his guards to stay far from them and keep watch around. He removed his perfectly tailored expensive suit and tie throwing them on his seat. He folded sleeves up to his forearm. Unfastened the first button of his navy blue shirt, he glared at Aiden. He rolled his eyes and removed his suit and tie following the actions done by Liam.

"I'm lucky," Bryan chuckled as he was in Jeans and Tshirt. They headed to the cafeteria.

Tina saw them coming inside, she went to welcome them and asked to have a seat. She asked gently, "Yes, sir."

She stood there meanwhile, they pulled the chairs and sat respectively.

The cafe was small but elegant. Everything was decorated and placed perfectly. Tina handed them a menu card.

There were only a few items they serve like hot coffee, cold coffee and some other things including fast food items.

Aiden smirked and ordered three hot coffees and also asked to make a heart on the coffee. Liam scowled at him. She smiled and left immediately.

Elsa mad coffee. She wasn't aware that who was sitting there. Preparing the mugs of coffee, she denied Tina and went to serve.

She smiled and placed the tray on the table with a smile.

"Good morning, gorgeous," Bryan chuckled and greeted her.

She nodded in reply with a sweet smile, which evaporated immediately when her gaze fell on Liam. She heaved and stepped back. A shiver passed through her entire body veins. He was gazing her but she didn't recognise him as today he was not in his official attire. She didn't expect him here. She hardly copes up with the worst day of her life. She had seen dying people and heard gunshots.

She stumbled and about to fall, he rapidly got up and held her to prevent from falling. She gulped discerning in his beautiful orange eyes.

"He is extremely handsome, but he is a murderer," Elsa gulped and shook her head. She tried to evade from his hold but failed as he was stronger enough to cage her in his arms. She blinked her eyes oftentimes.

He made her stood on her feet, she ran back inside the cafe and communicated with Lily about the guy.

Lily was shocked and came out to find the guys enjoying the coffee in her cafe. She sighed and went back, as she was not ready to tangle any gang members.

Suddenly, they were attacked and everything was going to be ruined. Elsa and Lily hid themselves hearing gunshots along with Tina.

Liam, Aiden and Bryan fought well, shooting the attackers and sent them to hell.

"They are not sparing us on holidays," Bryan shook his head with irritation.

"They are for you, brother, you are not declared as an emperor yet. They wanted to kill you," Aiden gasped seeing more than thirty dead bodies around them and some of them were lying on the road. His guards were covering him for precaution.

"But how they knew about us?" Liam tilted his head.

"If the jet of Matthews flies in the sky, people might know about that," Aiden shrugged off.

The equilibrium after the storm brought the ladies out from the hiding place. They came out and saw the entire cafeteria was blundered. So many dead bodies are lying there. The glass walls were shattered into pieces. The chairs and tables were almost broken and some of the chairs and tables were holed.

So many plants of flowers and pots were lying on the floor, shattering the clay. Seeing these mess, Lily stumbled at her foot. Elsa shivered with fear.

"Umm, we are apo..." Aiden tried to apologise for what happened there, but Lily cut off him and pointed her index to him.

"Just get out of here and don't come again here," Lily almost shouted controlling her anger.

"Listen, Ms.," Liam tried to speak but Lily shouted at them, "I said, get out."
