Chapter Thirteen: Transfixion

Vito was soon pulling into the carpark of his office, his expensive black car filling up the space at the front. The building didn’t stand out to the normal person, it seemed dishevelled from the outside, just a rundown building with a few broken windows littered around the brick structure. But within, it held some secrets that the police would love to get their hands on.

It wasn’t a secret to most of what Vito chooses to do with his time, most people in his inner circle refuse to ask question as to not get the full answer. For Vito, that was the best plan, if the police came fishing around, they had plausible deniability. The police have also been very aware of what Vito does but at the same time, have no evidence or clue of what happens deep within the walls of this place. Vito had to remain as secretive as he could, he didn’t need the police gaining access to this building.
