Chapter 5

3RD PERSON’S POV

The next day...

Dylan, Dean, Marcus and Sean walked together side by side. They're all heading to the canteen. As soon as the four entered the canteen students from all levels couldn't help but stare at them. The four acted like they're not bothered by the way other students stare at them. They just kept walking to the corner as they spotted a vacant table for four earlier.

Sean sits beside Dylan. Marcus is sitting at the other side. Dean facing Sean.

"Hi girls," Dylan said and winked at the group of girls who sat next to their table.

"Oh my god! They were like F4" one of the girls squealed.

"Hmm… F4, huh. Not bad. We are King University's F4." Dylan grins.

Sean rolled his eyes with his usual 'I'm so done with this person' look. Dylan, seeing his best friend's reaction, extended his hands and pinched Sean's cheeks. That earned him a slap on his hands.

"I'm really curious. How can you manage to stay as best friends when you two always bicker with each other. Mostly." Dean King asks with curiosity.

"That's what I've been wondering about also," Marcus seconded.

Sean Williams and Dylan King looked at each other, then shrugged. Then a grinning Dylan really wouldn't miss a chance to tease his best friend.

"We are not just best friends. We are way more beyond that. Right, my love?" Then he wraps his arms around Sean Williams.

"My love, your face!" Sean hissed. He looks down as he knows his face is getting red. He really got used to Dylan teasing him like that. But this time it's different as he can see Dean is looking at them, at him to be precise! He feels so shy and nervous at the same time. His heart was pounding loudly inside his chest.

Meanwhile, Dylan, who knows that his best friend feels shy and nervous because of his twin brother, grins inwardly. He knows Sean has a crush on Dean. How wouldn't he know? They grew up together. And ever since Sean opened up to him when they were still freshmen he already had a hint about it. He often caught him staring and stealing glances at Dean when he thought no one was paying attention. He can't help but smile evilly.

"Argh…  You don't have to be so shy in front of Dean. He's a very understanding brother. And he would never judge us, right, Dean?" Dylan said softly then pats Sean's shoulder. Then he winks at Marcus. Dean didn't bother himself as he didn't have any idea what's going on in his brother's head, but when he saw Dylan wrapping his arm around Sean’s shoulder, he wanted to slap his arms so hard. And to divert his attention, he munches the sandwich that their Mom prepared for him.

On the other hand, Sean picks a slice of bread and shoves it into Dylan's mouth as he was about to say something.

"You must be starving as you keep spouting nonsense again. Didn't you have your breakfast?" He said annoyingly then shoved another piece of bread. Dylan King gawked as he didn't even swallow the piece of bread in his mouth yet. Dean King gave his bottled water to his twin brother when he started coughing.

"Dylan, are you okay now?" Dean asks.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine. Sean, my love, you should have told me you wanted to feed me." Dylan turns to his side, facing Sean.

"Excuse me???" Sean looked at his friend with an exaggerated reaction. "Why would I want to feed you? What are you? A baby? You have two hands. Make use of it."

"Hush, hush now. Haha. I'm just messing around, you know. You don't have to be so worked up like that. It looks like your veins are gonna pop out of your skin."

"Tssh! Whatever! Just eat your sandwich already."

Dylan obeys but still grinning. Silently celebrating after seeing his twin brother’s reaction. Dean may seem cold and distant to others but he knows his brother very well. Dylan knows that if only he’s not Dean’s brother, the latter would’ve snapped his arm by now.

They all ate and finished their snacks and went back to their classes as vacant time was over.

SUNDAY

The Williams family is getting ready. They will attend a mass first as their ways to give grace to the Lord. And head to the restaurant prior to Mr. Williams's plan the week before. Today is his wife's birthday. His employer, Mrs. King allowed him to use the car he was using as a service for her sons.

Sean was about to hop in when his phone rang. He answered the call without even looking at who the caller was.

"Hey, Sean." Dylan's voice can be heard over the phone. "Did you leave already?"

"Not yet." Sean answers shortly.

"Then can you tell Henry to drop by the villa? We want to come, he already knows about it. And we got permission from Mom."

"Wait, I'll ask him~~ Pa, Dylan and Dean wanted to join, and asked if we could drop by the villa to pick them up."

"Ok, then let's just drop by and pick them up. Let's go."

"Yes! We'll be waiting. See you later, Sean." Dylan said happily as he heard what Sean's father said. Sean hopped in, and Henry started the car and hit the road heading to the villa.

When they arrived at the villa. The twins are already outside the King Mansion with their mother Dianne.

Henry got out of the car, his wife followed him and the twins did the same. The couple bowed to the lady and greeted her.

"Good morning, Aunt Dianne." Sean and Marcus greeted Mrs. King at the same time. She smiled at them sweetly.

"Henry, why don't you use the van instead? My twins also want to join your company, and you might not fit in that car." Henry nodded and went back to the car. He drove it back to the garage. He came back driving a van. They all walked towards the van and climbed up. But before Jamie  makes a step Dianne grabs her lightly by her wrist. Jamie turns towards Dianne in confusion. Dianne then took a step towards Jamie then hugged her. Giving her a light pat on her back. Jamie also did the same; she took Dianne's gesture as a way to greet her. They both broke the hug, and Jamie bowed again and went for their ride.

Dianne’s Pov

We were standing in front of the mansion for a while now, then I saw a black car entering the villa. I heard my son Dylan getting excited. They've been talking about going out for lunch with his driver's family since last night. He's being so excited for his Aunt Jamie's birthday. I felt happy seeing my sons get close to Henry's family as I know they are good people. That's the reason why I've personally pushed Dylan to be friends with the twins when they were just kids.

I saw Henry getting out of the car and walked towards us. He bowed and greeted me and his wife Jamie came after.

"Good morning, Aunt Dianne" greeted the twins. I just smiled at them. I can still vividly remember how they would be so bashful and shy when they were still kids everytime I asked them to call me Aunt.

I suggested to Henry that it's better if he uses the van instead. I know it would be too crowded for them if they use the small car. After Henry returned from the garage driving the van, my son's, Dean and Dylan bid goodbyes, and they headed towards the van. When I saw Jamie take a step I grabbed her wrist lightly and hugged her. Patting her back lightly she also did the same.

"We'll get going now, Mrs. King. We will drop the young masters after." She said respectfully then bowed. When the van was totally out of my sight, a tear rolled down my face. I took a deep breath and wiped it off with my fingers.

I'm sorry… I know you deserve to know the truth. But not now....not yet. I hope you could forgive me for keeping this from you for a long time. I cried silently. Then my phone rang.

"Hello, how was it? Any improvements about his condition?" didn't even bother to look at the caller's ID. Since only one person knows this phone number.

"Yes., just this morning he showed some signs that he might wake up."

"That's a relief. I hope he regains consciousness very soon. What about the evidence? Did you find any?"

"My men are trying their best, sister-in-law. But all the evidence that they gathered is not enough to bring him to prison for good. So it seems like Mr. Harris is our only key." The man on the other line explained.

I sighed. "I also believe so. I just hope your brother realizes what his mistakes are before it's too late. As I don't know how I will explain this to the kids. They are still too young to encounter something like this. And I don’t want to ruin what was left."

"I know you've already suffered a lot, sister-in-law. But I still have to ask you for this, just bear with it for now."

"I know." Then we dropped the call.

Please stop with your greediness now, Oliver. Before it's too late. I know our kids already hate you and I don't think I can bear to watch them hate you even more if they know what you did. I cried even more. I went inside the mansion before the workers noticed me crying in front of the mansion.
