~Avery~ We were back in James's office, Alex and James paced around for a good ten minutes whilst the guard had taken Damien to get some clothes. ”You had us fucking worried to death,” Alex said and raked a hand through his messy hair. They were both newly awake. ”How did we not hear you leave?” James asked as he stopped pacing. I shrugged my shoulder. ”Chase was here with a wizard, an old man. I think he had you all under a spell, Chase told me you wouldn't wake up if I moved or even if I screamed.” ”Told you? He was in the room?” ”Yes, I went with him,” I said and raised my head. Both guys stared at me in shock but Jackson was sitting with his head buried in his hands. ”You’re an idiot. You know that?” Jackson said and rose his head. I rolled my eyes. ”He said there was a way for me to save you. All of you,” I said and looked between the three of them. ”Had someone said that to you, that there was a way to save everyone you love, wouldn't you have done it?” I asked

~Avery~ Natasha had dark rings around her eyes, and her features were much more prominent. She looked like she hadn't slept or eaten in days. I turned back around and dug my face into the crook of Alex's neck as the sobs continued. I couldn't stop them. Someone came up and I was passed over to another person. James wrapped his arms around me and held on tightly. I grabbed his shirt and pressed further into him if that were even possible. The tears streamed down and I had trouble catching my breath. James tightened his hold to where I felt like I couldn't breathe, but it was oddly relaxing. He leaned down and pressed a kiss on the top of my head. The sobs continued more and more, and my breath was decreasing with every minute. ”Avery, love?” James said and leaned back. ”What is happening to her?” I heard Lisa say but the sobs didn't stop, I couldn't control them. ~Amber~We walked after the two vampires and passed by the big main house, and two not much smaller houses where I was guessing other families lived. We kept walking until we came up to a two-story house with a wrap-around porch. If I didn't know what actually went on in there, I'd say this was an ideal house with the porch, the big windows and the wicker look.The bigger vampire walked up to the porch and knocked on the door. I could hear music and conversation, the lights were on and people were laughing. The door opened up and a lean man stood inside. The second he saw us, he was in front of me. ”Werewolves,” he snarled with a distasteful expression on his face. ”You know, you guys are really good at stating the obvious,” Lydia said and cleared her throat. I slowly turned my head and saw Lydia staring at everyone with a bored expression on her face. Her hand had stopped shaking and her confidence had reappeared. I couldn't decide whether that was a good thing or a bad one. ”

~Amber~ Raven followed after Lydia, and I and Malia were close behind. We ran to the car that was still parked where we had left it. I opened the backseat and started searching my bag for my phone.
