LAURA I have been here at the Royal Moon Pack for a little more than a month and everyone has been so sweet. Rosa has helped me a lot making sure I am eating the right food held my hair when I had morning sickness. She also took me shopping, which I felt was a little wrong when I didn’t have my own money to pay with. But she didn’t care about that and Liam just shushed, me when I tried to get him on my side. Kali also loves it here. She had been very quiet in the beginning after I had accepted Mile’s rejection and severed the bond to the pack. But after a few days, she began to come back to normal. She told me last night that Liam’s wolf sometimes communicates with her. And that makes things easier for her. I am grateful that someone has helped her. I am currently lying outside on one of the garden beds and enjoying the sun when I feel a shadow fall on me. Looking up, I see Liam looking down and me and smile when I open my eyes to look. Liam has been really sweet to me as well. Noth
LAURA Liam led us into where all the packmembers have their houses, but there are also shops and a place where you can sit down and get a coffee. He showed me the gym and where his warriors work out and train daily. I was surprised to see so many she-wolves there, but Liam told me he likes for everyone to be able to protect themselves, so he encourages as many as possible to at least take some classes in self-defense. “From the look on your face, I take it that this isn’t something you are used to.” “No, she-wolves were not allowed to train. Especially not with the warriors. My dad wanted to train me, but the old Alpha said no. When Miles became Alpha he continued that.” Liam nods. “Sadly many packs still function in that old fashion way. But that means you never trained?” “Yes, but I wanted to." Liam smiles at me. “When you have given birth, I will train you until you are ready to train in the gym.” “I would love that, thank you.” We continue walking down the streets and com
LAURA I wake up feeling a little confused about where I am. The last thing I remembered was that Liam showed me around on the pack lands. The place is beautiful, and everyone seems to be so happy. I think I will be happy here, and I love how Liam, Rosa, and Mack have taken me in and accepted me. I get out of the bed and begin to walk downstairs, and I reach the ground floor when a brunette enters the house, looking at me as if I am something ugly sitting under her shoe. “Who are you, and why are you in Liam’s house.” She asks pretty much demanding answers. But before I can answer, she continues. “Never mind, it doesn’t mean anything but stay away from Liam. He is mine.” She doesn’t wait for an answer and leaves for Liam’s office. I look after her, shake my head, and continue walking into the big kitchen. Rosa and Mack are in the kitchen, Mack sitting by the range while Rosa is making some baked vegetables. It smells amazing. “Hey, Laura." Mack smiles “Hey Mack, Rosa, it smells a
LIAM Fuck, fuck, fuck. That stupid whore smacked Laura with one purpose, to draw blood. I threw Danielle out of the door after nearly choking her. I hurry over to Laura. It hurts me to see her hurt, especially when it is because of me. I try to check her wound, but she pulls away from me. I freeze. Her eyes look at me with pain within them. “I will mindlink the doctor. Get him to come here to check it." “I am fine.” She turns away as if she is going to walk away. “Laura!” “It's fine, Liam. I will heal.” “At least let me help you. Make sure it is clean.” She laughs. “You afraid the women you sleep with have dirty hands or something?” I cringe at her words. Guess I deserved that one. “Laura." “I am fine, Liam. But maybe warn me next time, so I can’t stay out of sight and the women visiting you, don’t get the wrong ideas.” Fuck. I hate how her voice sounds right now. It’s filled with so much disgust right now. She begins to walk up the stairs. “I’ll be down when dinner is ready
LAURA It has been three days since that she-wolf smacked me with her claws out, but one of the scratches has not healed properly and still shows a scar from next to my eye and over my cheek. I haven’t spoken to Liam yet. For some reason, it just hurts when I think of it. I never meant to fall in love with him, but now I am doing my best to push it away. I have an appointment at the hospital today. I am about halfway through my pregnancy, and they want to do an ultrasound of my belly. Also, they can tell me the gender if I want to know. I walk out of my room to go downstairs for an early breakfast. I have done that the last few days so I don’t run into Liam. After eating, I go up to my room to get ready to leave. When I am ready, I go to leave the house. Just as I am about to leave, the front door opens, and Liam and Mack come in. “Hey, you are up early. You going out?” Mack asks. I shrug my shoulders. “Just going for a walk,” I say without looking at Liam. “Don’t you have a docto
LIAMI lost it completely. What the hell runs through the head of someone when they completely deliberately wear something that can hurt any wolf if they come in contact with it. I mean, it is not like we do not already have a weapon on us, because we do. For fuck sake we have claws and within seconds we can let out a beast 1000 tines worse than claws. And apparently, it wasn’t the first time, the doctor saw scars or wounds after something like this.I had to get out of there, am already on edge from Laura trying so hard to avoid me. But knowing someone hurt her and left a permanent scar on her, because of me. I couldn’t handle it. It’s no wonder that she hates me. I mindlinked Mark to go drive her home. I only just made it to the forest before my anger got so intense that Shadow forced the shift and ran. In my wolf-form, I mindlinked some warriors to go pick up Danielle and lock her in the cells. I wasn’t going to let her walk
LAURA It’s been a few days since my appointment and I can’t stop looking at the picture doctor Marshall gave me, I have been thinking a lot about what I need for them. And even if my room is big, I really wish I could have a room just for them and their stuff. But I don’t want to ask for more from Liam. Maybe it would be best if I got my own place.I leave my room and walk downstairs to the kitchen. Rosa is standing by the stove and the delicious smell of pancakes hits my nose. Rosa smiles big when I come in, before I know it a glass of orange juice is handed to me. I have found that orange juice settles my morning sickness.“Thank you, Rosa.”“You are welcome, I remember orange juice always helped me too.” I smile at her and go to sit by the table. Rosa places a plate with pancakes in front of me and I begin to eat.“Laura I am going into town, and I wondered if you want to come. We
LAURA It has been 6 weeks and 4 days since Liam surprised me with the room, he had made for the twins. I was shocked, but I also know he did it because he felt bad for what Danielle had done. I had not seen any girls here since that incident. And we had spent time researching to see if there were any records of healing scars after silver. And I didn’t know how to thank him for making the room or the time he used otherwise to be with me or help me. One day we were sitting outside in his garden when the pups kicked. He got so worried, but I calmed him down, took his hand, and placed it on my belly. His eyes had become big and he sat down on his knees, before placing both hands on me, looking amazed as he promised the pups to take care of me.I tried to help him in another way. There had been a big rouge attack and a lot had been injured, so I helped take care of the pups of the wolves, that had a mate or other family, that needed them.
