Chapter 1

Moving from Cleveland to Indianapolis was no big deal. Even her travel expenses were being paid by the courier service. Georgia Brown Baines glanced briefly at the modest brown envelope under her purse on the passenger seat of her car.

The courier service had cautioned Georgia not to allow anyone to see it's address or to mention the receiving company's name. As they'd enclosed it in the anonymous brown envelope, they'd said it had to be in Indianapolis by evening. No sweat. She'd have it there by that afternoon.

All her wordly goods, plus her cat, were packed into her little pink car. Pink. When she could could manage, she would have to have it painted. Pink was noticeable. But she had worked for a florist ans she had made unscheduled appropriate. When Georgia was involved with anything, she threw herself into without restraint. She was loyal.
