12. The Dark Storm Pack

AXEL.

My alarm rings and I stir, sitting up in bed. The red light glows into my eyes making me turn to the other side. Memories of last night come to me slowly and I touch the area of the bed where Jayce slept. It was cold.

I get up, moving to my bathroom and slipping out of my slacks and boxer briefs… I usually sleep shirtless.

I try to recollect my thoughts as I plan for the day. I would join in trainings briefly and then drive Jayce to his pack to I have the feeling that the boy may want to socialise in our pack before leaving.

‘You Up?’ Ivan asks sarcastically.

‘I'm still in bed and I'm hearing you in my dreams.’ I reply him a sarcastically, meaningless statement.

‘Jayce was up thirty minutes before you… he's more prepared to be alpha than you.' Ivan mocked

Not replying. I cut off the mind link and wear a fitting white t-shirt along with a pair of black joggers.

“Good morning Alpha.” Jayce greeted from my living room where he sat, watching a cartoon on the TV.
