Grace POV

As soon as I enter the coffee shop, I watch as Amber’s face drops and her smile disappears. I stare at my best friends and then at her and take a deep breath, closing the door behind me. “Hey Jason,” I say as I approach the counter and he smiles at me.

His eyes move from me to the girls and then back at me. “What are you having today, princess?” He asks, and I look at him and shrug.

“Surprise me, but make it take away please,” I say and he nods, smiling before I walk to the table where Jamie and Hannah are sitting with Amber. I stand behind the chair that was left for me and all three sets of eyes land on me. Amber looks uncomfortable, and for once, I am happy about it.

“I just came to say I won’t be coming here anymore if she is,” I say, looking at Amber and all eyes focus on her now as her cheeks go bright red and she chews on her lower lip. Jamie opens her mouth to speak, but I look at her, shaking my head.
