Chapter 5; The Humiliation

Olivia stood at the entrance of the door. She was the devil, just as Elvis had claimed.

‘Did she really have to come here, of all places?’ Javier thought and hissed. He had already reached his limit. First, it was his father, then that crazy lady who had the audacity to slap him, and now he had to deal with this woman too. His eyes remained fixed on the door without blinking.

After a few minutes of scanning the club room, Olivia's gaze finally landed on them. She wore a devilish smirk as she cat-walked towards them like the model she is. While Javier pretended to be engrossed in his cell phone, secretly plotting numerous schemes against her.

She finally reached their table and realized there were no empty seats. Her gaze wandered around, as they finally landed on a couple enjoying their time together. She approached them seeking the attention she desired from Javier. Olivia intentionally caused a scene by forcefully displacing the lady from her seat, causing her to fall to the ground and groan in pain. The lady's boyfriend promptly came to help her up, without uttering a single word to Olivia. Because he knew how troublesome Olivia could be.

Olivia showed no concern for the lady she pushed to the ground as she forcefully took her seat. Everyone watched without intervening because they were aware of her unpredictable behavior.

Olivia moved the seat to Javier's table and sat down very close to him. He had to move his seat back to avoid physical contact with her.

A sly smirk appeared on Olivia's face as she took out a cigarette from her small handbag. She placed it in her mouth and lit it. After inhaling and exhaling the smoke, she smiled at Javier before speaking.

“Hey, sweetheart. I thought you would be at your clubhouse tonight, so I had to come see you,” she whispered, taking another drag of her cigarette.

Javier remained quiet, still brainstorming additional strategies to handle the audacious woman. She let out a soft chuckle when he didn't say a word, and then proceeded to speak further.

"Darling, you should start getting accustomed to the idea of marrying me. You already know how infatuated I am with you. I cannot bear to witness another woman with the possession that rightfully belongs to me. I would not hesitate to go to extreme lengths if it means having you, my love," she whispered alluringly, giving him a playful wink. She attempted to touch his chest, but his intense glare caused her to discreetly retract her hand.

Javier could sense her embarrassment due to the onlookers observing them intently. He surmised that they failed to recognize him as the one seated there.

Only a few of the strippers noticed him upon his arrival at the club; the rest were preoccupied with dancing, smoking, and engaging in intimate activities. Some of them frequented the establishment in hopes of encountering him in person, rather than solely seeing him on television, in magazines, or on shows.

“Why aren't you speaking to me?." She complained childishly, discarding the cigarette on the ground and extinguishing it by stepping on it. "I believe our fathers are making all the arrangements for our engagement celebration.” She exclaimed with enthusiasm, attempting to provoke him. Because she was aware that Javier never had a fondness for her, and this time, she achieved her goal.

Javier rose from his chair and gestured for Mac to approach again, which he promptly did. Without any instruction, Mac pulled Olivia up from her seat and embraced her tightly.

“Let me go Mac, or my father will make you spend the rest of your miserable life in jail!" She threatened, but Mac wasn't moved by her words

Olivia was filled with fear, trembling. She had a sense of what awaited her, but she refused to give up her struggle against Mac, pleading for her release.

"Mac, please let me go. I beg you."

Everyone in the club immediately stopped what they were doing and gathered around to witness the unfolding events on the stage. Their expressions showed shock and a few even let out screams.

Without any delay, they all pulled out their cell phones to record the upcoming events, while observing how Mac tightly gripped Olivia's arms as if she was a criminal.

Mac's grip on her was tight, like an unyielding vice, forcing her to remain motionless. She had to lower her head in shame to avoid the onslaught of camera flashes.

Elvis approached and positioned himself behind Javier, finding amusement in what Javier was about to put on. Javier confidently approached Olivia, wearing a sly smirk. Using his finger, he lifted her chin and locked eyes with her, moving his face closer to hers.

Olivia anticipated a public kiss, but what puzzled her was why Javier would order Mac to restrain her in this manner if he truly wanted to express his love for her.

However, her lips still curved into a smile as he brought his face even closer to hers. Suddenly, he pulled his face back and spat a mouthful of saliva on her face. He then emptied the glass of red wine he was holding onto her head.

Olivia's eyes widened and her jaws dropped as hot tears filled her eyes. Javier smirked at her shocked facial expressions.

"Under no circumstances will I ever have anything to do with a loose woman like you. You better remove the idea of me marrying you from your empty mind because it will never happen in this life or the next. Do you know why?" He smirked maliciously. "Because I don't associate with a promiscuous woman like you. Whatever agreement your father had with mine should remain between them. Don't ever try to involve me in anything, as I wouldn't hesitate to go out of my way to witness your downfall, along with your foolish father." He warned sternly. "If you want to live, stay away from me, otherwise, I will ruin you, Olivia." Throughout his outburst, he had been yelling, leaving everyone in shock.

“Throw her out of this building," Elvis chimed in, approaching them.

Olivia began to struggle as tears finally fell from her eyes. "If I can't have you, Javier, no one else will. Remember my words, you must marry me," she screamed at the top of her lungs. However, Mac forcefully lifted her onto his shoulder and proceeded to exit and dispose of her.

Elvis placed his hands on Javier's shoulder and whispered, "She received what she deserved." They both descended from the stage, while Javier's security team hurried inside to clear a path for their return to their seats.

Once they were seated, the new bartender approached them with trembling hands.

"Why did it take you so long?" Javier demanded, giving her a deadly glare.

"I-I'm s-s-sorry," she stammered, struggling to conceal her trembling hands behind her back.

"You are fired. Get your stinking self out of my presence," he angrily yelled.

"Sir?" She exclaimed in shock.

"Mac...!" Javier called Mac over to escort her out, just like Olivia.

She nervously composed herself, dropping the wine she was carrying on the table, and hastily ran off without attempting to apologize again.

Javier retrieved his phone from his pocket and dialed a number. "I want you to send a message to all the companies Olivia works with. Inform them that I, Javier Reyes, demand they terminate any deals they have with her within two days, or else they will face my wrath," he commanded.

"Yes, boss," the voice replied before ending the call.

Javier turned around and noticed how everyone was screaming with delight, realizing they truly enjoyed the show. He had certainly provided them with a sensational headline for a whole year.

He and Elvis stood up and exited the club, with cameras continuously flashing as they walked out of the building, wearing satisfied smiles on their faces.

"Javier you're a bad guy." Elvis burst into laughter.

"I'm eagerly awaiting Alverdo's next move. It's bound to be entertaining," Javier muttered as he sat in Elvis' car. And they sped away.
