Chapter 14 I am letting it go...

"Michelle?" I called for him as I walked closer.

He was back facing me at first. My voice made him turn his gaze to me and at that moment, I wished that I never called for him so I wouldn't have to see orbs, that are filled with disgust and contempt only.

Those ocean-blue orbs once used to look at me with love and promises. How time changes in a confusing and opposite way, doesn't it?

His lips twitched in a strange smirk, that I never faced before. But surely, something not so good is coming at me.

"Oh, Miss Williams! So? Your kidnappers do release you, huh?" He arched his brow at me, glancing with the coldest smile he could possibly put on.

"How was your stay in the abduction? Was it good? Were they hospitable?"

Each word he was saying, started pinching in the depth of my heart. Even after three years, I still have a little hope somewhere in my heart that he would come back to me again.

But today, somehow that little hope of mine is shattered into a million shreds.
