Chapter 22

I got home a few hours after hanging out with Junior. I locked the door behind me and switched on the lights in my home because I hated the dark. I walked up the stairs to my bedroom, dragging my feet because I was feeling exhausted. It was Friday night, and I wanted to rest before tomorrow morning because Jared had promised to take me wedding dress shopping and I had to find a dress.

I walked into my bedroom and stilled when I saw a big black box tied with a red ribbon placed in the middle of my bed. I furrowed my eyebrows, certain that I didn't leave any box on my bed. Somebody had to have been inside my house. I walked to the box and found a red coloured note tied to the ribbon.

Put these on, I'll pick you up at 21:30

I knew who this was from and I frowned, crushing the red note as I removed the ribbon from the box and opened the box.
