Risky Decision

Lydia Richmond's POV

“A situation?” I stood up instantly. I was not used to hearing something like this from Kayla and this made me know that it was truly urgent.

“Yes, milady,” Kayla replied. “Did you hear that the Alpha got poisoned?”

Instantly, I stood up. I had been having issues about poison for that day and if there was something I didn't want right now, it had to be another case regarding poison.

“How did it happen?” I asked carefully. I was so scared but I had to keep calm. If I could scale through Dan's case, I could do the same for Alpha Quinn. I didn't know many things but I knew that things would be fine at the end.

“It happened when he went to get Dan's poison. He got poisoned there,” Kayla explained. This wasn't reassuring at all and one thing I have come to understand was that an antidote was needed. It was of no use to cry and wail. Instead, I had to save up the energy to find a solution.

“Since we know where he got poisoned, I think we should go back there. We should
