Amia

Meeting Dylan’s father here was not in the plans and I could tell it was something he wasn’t happy about. Dylan was very particular. He didn’t like changes and he didn’t like it when things didn’t go his way. After the introduction with his father, I could feel the anger coming off of him in waves. I kept my head down and my eyes on my plate. I knew he was the Alpha’s son but we never talked about it. I wasn’t with him because of who his father was and I didn’t like to think to far ahead into the future. The only thing I focused on was getting as far away from possible from Greg when I became of age.

Dylan didn’t say a word and my heart beat quickened with every moment that passed in silence. I dug my thumbnail into my index finger. I want to ask him about what’s bothering him but I’m worried that what I say will only make it worse. I know he’s upset but I don’t know what to say.

What can I say to make this better?

Is there anything I can do to take us back to ten minutes ago?
