“What the heck are you trying to say?” I was sure that he was back to smoking pot as that could have been the most rational explanation for his sudden change of character which was quite questionable.

At some point, I was waiting for him to tell me that he had been bluffing all that time. But nothing like that seemed to be happening any time soon. His eyes were burning with an intense anger which I hadn't seen in a while.

“I said what I just said.” Aiden seemed really serious. “It's time you take your eyes and your mind off of my stepsister, and I really mean that.”

For a couple of moments, I stared blankly at him as I almost couldn't believe the words reaching my ears at that point.
