Gabriella laughed. It was a kind, pleasant laugh. Ethan was sure she was laughing at him but there was no malice or disrespect in her laugh; it almost made him want to laugh with her.

"I can't tell the future silly." She said with a caring smile. "But my Lord can."

He raised his eyebrow.

She followed suit. "You can accept dragons, magic, and elves but not prophecy?"

"Well, uh, when you put it that way..."

Gabriella held up her hands as if to say "see."

"Okay, what's this prophecy?"

"Oh, it's notquite a prophecy." She corrected. "I said it was 'almost a prophecy'. Truth be told, it's more of an instruction about what my Lord wishes you to dowhen something happens in the future."
