Chapter 14

Arielle spent only two days in the hospital, and Kim, her doctor friend, allowed her to recover at home. During those two days, Gun accompanied her and never left her side. After she was discharged, Gun went to his house to get clothes and personal belongings from his house.

"When Gun returns, just accompany him to his room, Emma. Give him the adjacent room to mine so he can easily find me when I need him," she instructed the maid.

The two maids wouldn't know which room to assign to Gun if he arrived suddenly while she was asleep so she just told Emma which room Gun would stay.

"Yes, Ma'am Arielle," Emma replied, then flashed her a meaningful smile.

"What does that smile mean, Emma?" She seemed to guess what she was thinking.

"Is Gun really just your driver-bodyguard, Ma'am Arielle? Isn't he courting you? It's unlikely for him to be just a driver-bodyguard because he's too handsome for this job. He's more suited to be your boyfriend-bodyguard."

She chuckled lightly at Emma's remark
