I wasn’t sure why I was furious.

Was it because of what he had said about winning Camilla back?

I did not think I should have been bothered seeing that she is not even mine but I was itching to smack him in his smug face.

“I am here to invest” He said.

“To invest?” I echoed, casting Camilla a glance.

If she knew what exactly he was talking about then she had to say something.

“I was forwarded a mail about you needing investors and I…” The man stopped speaking when he figured I did not know what the fuck he was talking about.

“I had to do something” Camilla muttered.

Of course, she had sent those mails against my express permission.

I took a deep breath, leaning forward.

She and I were going to talk about just how much she could interfere but for now I did not think I was going to be accepting any investment from this obvious over pampered snob.

“Mr Reed, I am sorry to have wasted your time but Camilla sent whatever mails she sent of her own accord and against my instructions.”
