Kyle's POV

We were back on the road, and I was feeling tired. We slept in a hotel and continued our drive the next day.

"I don't remember our way from camp being this long when going," I said lazily as my father laughed.

"Well, that's because I took the long road this time. The short one is under construction," he answered as I frowned deeply.

"You could have told us beforehand, father. And just so you know, I would have been happier to travel in my wolf form than being in this car for hours," I said seriously.

"And the damn luggage?" He asked with a raised brow.

"Someone could have brought it to the pack. You are a big shot on that side; I'm sure someone would have made arrangements," I answered as he smirked and then kept quiet.
