Chapter 31

Present.

A severe throbbing on her neck had her squirming as she groggily opened her eyes. Her eyelids felt as if a ton of weight was tossed over them, and her body felt like a bulldozer ran over her a couple hundred times.

Her mouth was as dry as the Sahara Desert as she groaned. Her head pounded with a dull throb and even the back of her eyes ached.

She felt so drained, exhausted, and weak. Angela tried to connect to her wolf, but she was so damn weak.

Her eyes darted around the room, a fleeting second passed, and everything came back as she tried to pull at the restraints on both of her wrists. The chains were hanging from the ceiling and her hands were tied apart in such a way that her arms were spread like an eagle. Her palm that burned because of the silver hadn't healed properly; her wolf was too weak to heal her wounds.

Tears brimmed in her eyes as she scooted back on the bed to rest her back on the headboard properly.

The itching pain on her neck was a constan
