Emma was all cheery and happy for the last two days. That date was the first and the best date of her life.

Emma was on cloud nine. Her happiness knew no bounds but at the same time, she was so very afraid of life.

Life always took away the best things from her and no way did she want to lose this man who has become the most important part of her life.

Not being able to sleep she decided to roam in the backyard as it was good rainy weather outside. Xander was probably dead asleep by now.

Emma left and it was so amazing in the garden at this time.

After casually strolling there for an hour or two she came back inside. She was closing the main door when she saw a silhouette of a guy near the trees in front. She would've taken it casually but her heart jolted in her ribcage when she witnessed a red eye shining from afar and gazing directly at her.

It was as if the floor beneath her feet was snatched away, leaving her falling into the demise of her traumatic past.
