"Let's go inside, the class' about to start." The girl motioned Hestia inside the classroom and dragged her to two empty seat beside the window. Not intending to deal with the Student Council Auditor, Hestia quickly sat on her seat and ignored the girl. She didn't listen to the subject teacher as she already learned it long ago, instead, she focused on thinking on how to complete her mission while ignoring the girl beside her who's constantly bothering her.
"Hey, watcha doin'? Are you taking notes? Can I copy it?" the girl asked her questions one after another. She is constantly trying to get Hestia's attention whilst not bothering the subject teacher to her lesson. She keeps on asking again and again and Hestia is getting so pissed, she wants to make the girl shut up so she can truly on her mission. The final straw broke when the girl tried to take a peek on her notebook. "Look here missi, I already said I'm not interested so please stop bothering me." Hestia said in a hissed tone. She's not used to having someone bother her like this, she's used to being left alone doing her job, not like this as if she's taking care of a baby.
The girl was about to say something but got cut off by the teacher. "Miss Leblanc, Miss Montague, you seem to have a juicy conversation there, mind sharing it in the class." It's Hestia who answered in a merry tone," It's nothing Mam, Miss... Montague just asked me to explain something to her regarding you lesson, but I said she should ask you." Hestia made a story to cover them both, it'll be a hassle if she got into the guidance office while staying low profile. The girl— or Miss Montague, was shaken up by what Hestia did, 'She lied!' she thought to herself but quickly regained her composure so that they won't get caught. "Uhm, its' okay now Mam, I already figured it out." Miss Montague said to the teacher with a smile to avoid being suspicious. It looked like the teacher bought their story and moved on to her lesson. "Miss Leblanc, please solve this equation, you too Miss Montague, you solve the other." The teacher said and gave them both a chalk.
Hestia quickly rose to her seat and headed to the board and solved the equation easily. 'Hmph. Piece of cake.' She thought to herself while putting down the chalk. She caught a glimpse of Miss Montague slowly solving the equation. She doesn't intend to prolong their interaction, she didn't help her and left her on her own. Luckily, Miss Montague never bothered her through the rest of the class.
When lunch break came, Hestia hurriedly got out of the classroom, who knows, Miss Montague might pester her again. And it turns out that she's right. Miss Montague followed her and called her name, "Miss Leblanc! Hey Leblanc wait up!" Hestia quickened her pace, she doesn't want to deal with that girl again, but the girl didn't stop calling her, "Miss Leblanc!"
"What?!" Hestia turned around and irritably asked Miss Montague. Taken aback by how Hestia acted, she retreated a bit. Putting some space between them and said, "I– I just wanted to introduce myself properly s–since I didn't do that in the first place."
"I'm not interested on who you are so please don't. Bother. Me. Again." Hestia said, trying her hardest to push Montague away, she'll just become a hindrance in her missions.
"Still, I'm Excami Montague, nice to meet you." Excami, nevertheless introduced herself and reached out her hand for a shake, but Hestia ignored her hand and simply said, "Hestia." And immediately head to the hallways and disappeared in the crowd of other students. "Hestia Leblanc, we will definitely have you in the council." Excami said to herself and proceeded to the Student Council room.
Hestia was battling her way through the horde of students and got to the girls toilet. If she wanted to know where exactly her target is, this is the perfect place to get information. Why? Well, where gossip girls gather? In the girls toilet. When Hestia entered the toilet, there's no one there. "Perfect, nothing to miss out on." She said to herself and hid on the second stall, then she waited for the girls to enter and start the gossip. After a minute, the girls started to flood in on the room and immediately started their gossip.
"Hey, have you heard of the new girl?"
"Which one? Sis, we have like what many new students this year."
"The one who made the whole corridors' head turn, like they said she looked like a goddess even if she has bangs over her face and wears loose clothes."
"Oh, you mean the one that got the Student Council interested in her?"
"Yah, that one."
They all laughed and continued their gossip while Hestia remained still and quiet inside the stall. She's trying to keep on listening to their gossip but someone pounded on the stall she's in.
"Hey girlie! What are ya' doin' there? Taking a dump?" said the girl who pounded at the door while everyone on the room laughed. Hestia, loosing hope that the girls will talk about her target, decided to go out of the stall. When she did, all the laugh around her died and the room became silent. "Sorry for the inconvenience, here, you can use this stall." She said in a cute and shy tone while keeping her head down. She wants to avoid another cluster of annoying attention knowing the fact that she is the topic of their gossip not long ago. When she tried to get out of the toilet room, a band of three girls blocked her way.
"Oi, let us see your face girly." One girl demanded. Hestia, not wanting anymore trouble, lifted her head and it earned gasps from some girls inside the space. As she turned around to face where the gasps mostly came from, still wearing her innocent shy face, murmurs started again.
"They're right, she's a total beauty."
"Yeah, you're right. Think she'll be interested on joining our club?"
The girls whispered to one another as Hestia tried to back away and escape this new found trouble. Then again, before Hestia could escape, one girl stopped all the murmurs and goes to face Hestia. "Sorry girls, this one will be mine." Said the tall beautiful girl in front of her. "Sorry but, I'm not interested in any of your offers." Hestia said. "Really sweetie? Not interested in becoming a cheerleader? You know, a cheerleader has its perks. The group helping you, the boys, the attention. Don't want it?" the tall girl asked. "No, not interested at all. Anyway, can I ask you something? Do you know where I can find Aaron Torento? I have something important for him." Hestia replied. "He's in the gym, training as usual, what do you have for him, hmm, little girl?" one girl said. "None of your business." Hestia said and quickly left.
"Ya' sure not going to follow her, Freya?" one girl asked. "Nah, just want to assert dominance, though she's a great lost. She'll be a real good cheerleader." Freya said and continued to freshen herself up. A cheerleader must stay beautiful at all times after all.
Hestia, not having luck of getting more info about her target, headed to the gymnasium, hoping that she could study her target there and hopefully, interact with him. While walking to the gymnasium entrance, she saw someone familiar. The same black hair and red eyes, the red bandana— it's the Student Council President. 'Good, another hindrance, another trouble. What a day.' She thought as the President waved and smiled at her.
"Good Morning Miss Leblanc. Changed your mind?" The president asked as he blocked her from going inside the gymnasium. "Sorry miss, but only authorized personnel can enter the gymnasium, can't let the noisy fan girls bother our athletes as they train." The president explained. Now Hestia lost her big chance to study her target. Already pissed, Hestia left the sports center and walked away, so many nuisances had already interrupted her from making progress to her mission. Then, she turned around to the President and asked, "If I accept your offer, then can I enter the gym?"
'I can't let this day end without progress.' She thought as she saw a smile form on the president's face.
"Then, let me explain to you the perks of being a Student Council member, Miss Leblanc, but first let me introduce myself. I'm Damian Theodore Montague, the Student Council President."
Hestia is contemplating on her decision, she was ordered to have a low profile inside the school to avoid too much attention and yet here she is, following the 'President' to the council room for the application of being a Vice President.'Why am I doing this? I was ordered to have a low profile so I can do the mission efficiently and without any trouble and here I am, signing up as Vice President. But what can I do? I can't go inside the gymnasium where the target spends most of his time because I am not an authorized personnel, and I can't just walk to him when he's out, he won't pay attention because I'm a nobody. I can't also attempt to be in his circle, I have to become popular first to try and that defies the order of having a discreet profile. Argh! This is the only choice left.'Hestia thought to herself profusely as th
When Hestia entered the Gymnasium, her nose was hit with different scents. First, she smelled the forest, a fresh scent soothing her nostrils clearly saying that it's a scent of a man and the next thing she smelled is the horrid smell of a body drenched in sweat— this time, multiple bodies drenched in sweat. The combination of the smells made Hestia's nose wrinkle in confusion. She just grabbed her handkerchief and covered her nose. To avoid any unwanted attention, she walked beside the benchers and observed the athletes training. She also paid attention to the layout of the building, marking any dark places and perfect spots to place a cctv or bugs. At the same time, she searched for her target: Aaron Torento. A tall guy with an average built of the body, has golden blonde hair and blue eyes and a slightly tan skin. His sport is track n' field. With the information she has, she focused
For the two people inside, the room is eerily quiet despite of the sounds that can be heard. The rustling of the leaves, the swooshing of papers and the way the pen glides on the papers. Even though the light shines from the window; for them, the room is dark. The tense atmosphere and glum aura that comes out of the two. You would think that these two are having a tragedy and yet their surroundings contrast their feelings. This is how Hestia would describe the situation she is in. She immediately went home after her encounter with Arthur Beckett and after a week, she never saw him again. She tried to go home late hoping that she would bump into him again but it's no use. She didn't see even a shadow of him. And in that week, nothing abnormal occurred when she is observing Aaron or his surroundings. No strange movements or conversation and no wary people around him too. She felt like her
When Marco heard the voice, he was terrified at first but then, calmed himself down. He stayed still as his eyes spark with recognition of the voice. "Hello Marco, I have something to say." The voice repeated and paused for a moment. It made Marco nervous, a lump was growing in his throat every second, his legs started shaking and bullets of sweat trickled down his forehead."What you did yesterday was very disappointing. I thought we had a deal: you'll follow your master's orders and I won't publicize your secret." The voice said with displeasure evident in his tone. Marco tried to remain calm and hide his fear as best as he could but failed to no avail. He started to bit his nails to relieve some stress, although it just gave him away. "There's no point hiding it from me. You do know very well that I have eyes and ears everywhere— even in the student council room." This time, the
"I– I, I'm ac– actually, I'm—"She heaved a deep sigh before continuing. She's still nervous because she knows this can help them but then it will definitely affect her mission. But what can she do, this can help them and they have the same goal. Still, Hestia is wary of sharing such information; they will definitely ask her tons and tons of questions and she will needs to answer even just some of them. Hestia can't seems to reach a decision at all.On the other hand, the siblings are patiently waiting to what she's going to tell them. As the silence goes, their heart beat goes faster and faster with each second. Their starting to get nervous, they looked at each other quizzically to ask if they know anything about this, but both of them shake their heads in dismay. Both of them don't have a clue or even a hint on what she's going to say. Yet, both of them are pulled fro
Albert Wallenstein. A prodigy that came from the family of Steins— a family who produced many people that lead to the advancement of the technology and economy of the world— he is the latest and the only generation of prodigies born today. A lot was expected from him from a very young age– and he lived those expectations to the fullest, earning lots and lots of praises from everyone. However, he got full of himself and did a very big mistake: never try to infiltrate the ISO system unprepared to any events. Well, he did just that without any back up plan and was caught by the ISO personnel immediately. He was interrogated of course, asked on why did he do it. He just laughed at the system director and said, "I was just curious." He plainly said that made the ISO director laugh who's also inside the room. Instead of throwing Albert into some juvenile prison or harm him, t
Damian was furiously tapping his foot on the floor while his hands were laying on the desk, holding a pen and paper but doing nothing. His brows in one line, his eyes a slit, and his lips so thin it may not exist at all. He was staring at the doors waiting for Hestia to arrive. He came to the school real early and waited for her in the Student Council room. He needs to clarify something with her, and the things he heard isn't helping him.He was furious this past four days because of her suggestion to accept Arthur's application in which her sister supported. Of course, being known as the calm president, he tried to live in those names but failed. After Hestia's last statement, he stormed off the room and rode home immediately, leaving the two girls staring at each other. An in those four days, they persuaded him to say yes. He kept his poker face and serious demeanor but deep inside, hi
Arthur began his work the very next day. As a treasurer, he has to plan the funds of the school as well as to distribute the yearly fund on every event and occasions with so balance so the school won't have any problems. He also has to keep in check with every clubs to ensure that the budget, funds and their expenses is monitored well. And since he's a member of New Technologies Club, he's capable making a program, and he did— a program that encodes, automatically sums up typed costs, splits the funds in each event encoded with balance, able to canvas the costs of material needed by event and clubs, actually able to give every clubs approximate budgets needed and has found a way to have extra funds by limiting the funds given to each and everyone but not making it short for them; and all he has to do is sign it and give it to Damian.Damian and Excami both has their mouths gaped wi
